Matthew 4:1 | Then Jesus was carried up into the wilderness by the Spirit to be tempted of the devil: | Then Jesus was sent by the Spirit into the waste land to be tested by the Evil One. | Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. |
