| Genesis 20:1 | And Abraham departed thence towards the south country, and dwelt between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned at Gerar. | Abraham removed from thence to the south country, and dwelt between Cedes and Sur, and sojourned in Gerara. | And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the land of the South, and dwelt between Kadesh and Shur. And he sojourned in Gerar. |
| Genesis 20:2 | And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister. And Abimelech the king of Gerar sent and took Sarah. | And he said of Sara his wife: She is my sister. So Abimelech the king of Oerara sent, and took her. | And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister. And Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah. |

| Genesis 20:6 | And God said to him in a dream, I also knew that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart, and I, too, have withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore have I not suffered thee to touch her. | And God said to him: And I know that thou didst it with a sincere heart: and therefore I withheld thee from sinning against me, and I suffered thee not to touch her. | And God said unto him in the dream, Yea, I know that in the integrity of thy heart thou has done this, and I also withheld thee from sinning against me. Therefore suffered I thee not to touch her. |

Thou hast done to me deeds that ought not to be done. | And Abimelech called also for Abraham, and said to him: What hast thou done to us? what have we offended thee in, that thou hast brought upon me and upon my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done to us what thou oughtest not to do. | Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? And wherein have I sinned against thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? Thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done. |

| Genesis 20:11 | And Abraham said, Because I said, Surely the fear of God is not in this place, and they will kill me for my wife's sake. | Abraham answered: I thought with myself, saying: Perhaps there is not the fear of God in this place: and they will kill me for the sake of my wife: | And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place. And they will slay me for my wife's sake. |

| Genesis 20:13 | And it came to pass when God caused me to wander from my father's house, that I said to her, Let this be thy kindness which thou shalt shew to me: at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my brother. | And after God brought me out of my father's house, I said to her: I Thou shalt do me this kindness: In every place, to which we shall come, thou shalt say that I am thy brother. | and it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father's house, that I said unto her, This is thy kindness which thou shalt show unto me. At every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my brother. |

Behold, it is for thee a covering of the eyes to all that are with thee. And in respect of all thou art righted. |
