Exodus 35:1And Moses collected all the assembly of the children of Israel, and said to them, These are the things which Jehovah has commanded, to do them.And all the multitude of the children of Israel being gathered together, he said to them: These are the things which the Lord hath commanded to be done.And Moses sent for all the children of Israel to come together, and said to them, This is what the Lord has said and these are his orders.
Exodus 35:2Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you a holy day, a sabbath of rest to Jehovah: whoever does work on it shall be put to death.Six days you shall do work: the seventh day shall be holy unto you, the sabbath, and the rest of the Lord: he that shall do any work on it, shall be put to death.Six days let work be done, but the seventh day is to be a holy day to you, a Sabbath of rest to the Lord; whoever does any work on that day is to be put to death.
Exodus 35:3Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your dwellings upon the sabbath day.You shall kindle no fire in any of your habitations on the sabbath day.No fire is to be lighted in any of your houses on the Sabbath day.
Exodus 35:4And Moses spoke to all the assembly of the children of Israel, saying, This is the word which Jehovah has commanded, saying,And Moses said to all the assembly of the children of Israel: This is the word the Lord hath commanded, saying:And Moses said to all the meeting of the children of Israel, This is the order which the Lord has given:
Exodus 35:5Take from among you a heave-offering to Jehovah: every one whose heart [is] willing, let him bring it, Jehovah's heave-offering gold, and silver, and copper,Set aside with you firstfuits to the Lord. Let every one that is willing and hath a ready heart, offer them to the Lord: gold, and silver, and brass,Take from among you an offering to the Lord; everyone who has the impulse in his heart, let him give his offering to the Lord; gold and silver and brass;
Exodus 35:6and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and byssus, and goats' [hair],Violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen, goats' hair,And blue and purple and red and the best linen and goats' hair,
Exodus 35:7and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and acacia-wood,And rams' skins dyed red, and violet coloured skins, setim wood,And sheepskins coloured red, and leather, and hard wood,
Exodus 35:8and oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil, and for the incense of fragrant drugs;And oil to maintain lights, and to make ointment, and most sweet incense.And oil for the lights, and spices for the holy oil and for the sweet perfumes for burning.
Exodus 35:9and onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.Onyx stones, and precious stones, for the adorning of the ephod and the rational.And beryls and jewels to be cut for the ephod and for the priest's bag.
Exodus 35:10And all who are wise-hearted among you shall come and make all that Jehovah has commanded:Whosoever of you is wise, let him come, and make that which the Lord hath commanded:And let every wise-hearted man among you come and make whatever has been ordered by the Lord;
Exodus 35:11the tabernacle, its tent, and its covering, its clasps, and its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its bases;To wit, the tabernacle and the roof thereof, and the cover, the rings, and the board work with the oars, the pillars, and the sockets:The House and its tent and its cover, its hooks and its boards, its rods and its pillars and its bases;
Exodus 35:12the ark, and its staves; the mercy-seat, and the veil of separation;The ark and the staves, the propitiatory, and the veil that is drawn before it:The ark with its cover and its rods and the veil hanging before it;
Exodus 35:13the table and its staves, and all its utensils, and the shewbread;The table with the bars and the vessels, and the loaves of proposition:The table and its rods and all its vessels, and the holy bread;
Exodus 35:14and the lamp-stand for the light, and its utensils, and its lamps, and the oil for the light;The candlestick to bear up the lights, the vessels thereof and the lamps, and the oil for the nourishing of fires:And the support for the lights, with its vessels and its lights and the oil for the light;
Exodus 35:15and the altar of incense, and its staves; and the anointing-oil, and the incense of fragrant drugs; and the entrance-curtain at the entrance of the tabernacle;The altar of incense, and the bars, and the oil of unction and the incense of spices: the hanging at the door of the tabernacle:And the altar for burning spices, with its rods, and the holy oil and the sweet perfume, and the curtain for the door, at the door of the House;
Exodus 35:16the altar of burnt-offering, and the copper grating for it, its staves, and all its utensils; the laver and its stand;The altar of holocaust, and its grate of brass, with the bars and vessels thereof: the laver and its foot:The altar of burned offerings, with its network of brass, its rods, and all its vessels, the washing-vessel and its base;
Exodus 35:17the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its bases, and the curtains of the gate of the court;The curtains of the court with the pillars and the sockets, the hanging in the doors of the entry,The hangings for the open space, its pillars and their bases, and the curtain for the doorway;
Exodus 35:18the pegs of the tabernacle, and the pegs of the court, and their cords;The pins of the tabernacle and of the court with their little cords:The nails for the House, and the nails for the open space and their cords;
Exodus 35:19the garments of service, to do service in the sanctuary, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to serve as priests.The vestments that are to be used in the ministry of the sanctuary, the vesture of Aaron the high priest, and of his sons, to do the office of priesthood to me.The robes of needlework for the work of the holy place, the holy robes for Aaron the priest, and the robes for his sons when acting as priests.
Exodus 35:20And all the assembly of the children of Israel departed from before Moses.And all the multitude of the children of Israel going out from the presence of Moses,And all the children of Israel went away from Moses.
Exodus 35:21And they came, every one whose heart moved him, and every one whose spirit prompted him; they brought Jehovah's heave-offering for the work of the tent of meeting, and for all its service, and for the holy garments.Offered firstfruits to the Lord with a most ready and devout mind, to make the work of the tabernacle of the testimony. Whatsoever was necessary to the service, and to the holy vestments,And everyone whose heart was moved, everyone who was guided by the impulse of his spirit, came with his offering for the Lord, for whatever was needed for the Tent of meeting and its work and for the holy robes.
Exodus 35:22And they came, both men and women; every one who was of willing heart brought nose-rings, and earrings, and rings, and bracelets, all kinds of utensils of gold: every man that waved a wave-offering of gold to Jehovah.Both men and women gave bracelets and earrings, rings and tablets: every vessel of gold was set aside to be offered to the Lord.They came, men and women, all who were ready to give, and gave pins and nose-rings and finger-rings and neck-ornaments, all of gold; everyone gave an offering of gold to the Lord.
Exodus 35:23And every man with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and byssus, and goats' [hair], and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, brought [them].If any man had violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, fine linen and goats' hair, rams' skins dyed red, and violet coloured skins,And everyone who had blue and purple and red and the best linen and goats' hair and sheepskins coloured red and leather, gave them.
Exodus 35:24All they that offered a heave-offering of silver and copper brought Jehovah's heave-offering. And every one with whom was found acacia-wood for all manner of work of the service, brought [it].Metal of silver and brass, they offered it to the Lord, and setim wood for divers uses.Everyone who had silver and brass gave an offering of them to the Lord; and everyone who had hard wood, such as was needed for the work, gave it.
Exodus 35:25And every woman that was wise-hearted spun with her hands, and brought what she had spun: the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, and the byssus.The skilful women also gave such things as they had spun, violet, purple, and scarlet, and fine linen,And all the women who were expert with their hands, made cloth, and gave the work of their hands, blue and purple and red and the best linen.
Exodus 35:26And all the women whose heart moved them in wisdom spun goats' [hair].And goats' hair, giving all of their own accord.And those women who had the knowledge, made the goats' hair into cloth.
Exodus 35:27And the principal men brought the onyx stones, and the stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;But the princes offered onyx stone, and precious stones, for the ephod and the rational,And the rulers gave the beryls and the cut jewels for the ephod and the priest's bag;
Exodus 35:28and the spice, and the oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the incense of fragrant drugs.And spices and oil for the lights, and for the preparing of ointment, and to make the incense of most sweet savour.And the spice and the oil for the light, and the holy oil and the sweet perfumes.
Exodus 35:29The children of Israel brought a voluntary offering to Jehovah, every man and woman whose heart prompted them to bring for all manner of work, which Jehovah, by the hand of Moses, had commanded to be done.All both men and women with devout mind offered gifts, that the works might be done which the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses. All the children of Israel dedicated voluntary offerings to the Lord.The children of Israel, every man and woman, from the impulse of their hearts, gave their offerings freely to the Lord for the work which the Lord had given Moses orders to have done.
Exodus 35:30And Moses said to the children of Israel, See, Jehovah has called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,And Moses said to the children of Israel: Behold the Lord hath called by name Beseleel the son of Uri the son of Hur of the tribe of Juda.And Moses said to the children of Israel, See, the Lord has made selection of Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
Exodus 35:31and he has filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,And hath filled him with the spirit of God, with wisdom and understanding and knowledge and all learning.And he has made him full of the spirit of God, in all wisdom and knowledge and art of every sort;
Exodus 35:32and to devise artistic things: to work in gold, and in silver, and in copper,To devise and to work in gold and silver and brass,As an expert designer of beautiful things, working in gold and silver and brass;
Exodus 35:33and in cutting of stones, for setting, and in carving of wood, to execute all artistic work;And in engraving stones, and in carpenters' work. Whatsoever can be devised artificially,Trained in the cutting of stones and the ornamenting of wood and in every sort of handwork.
Exodus 35:34and he has put in his heart to teach, he and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan:He hath given in his heart: Ooliab also the son of Achisamech of the tribe of Dan:And he has given to him, and to Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, the power of training others.
Exodus 35:35he has filled them with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work of the engraver, and of the artificer, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in byssus, and of the weaver, [even] of them that do every kind of work, and of those that devise artistic workBoth of them hath he instructed with wisdom, to do carpenters' work and tapestry, and embroidery in blue and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen, and to weave all things, and to invent all new things.To them he has given knowledge of all the arts of the handworker, of the designer, and the expert workman; of the maker of needlework in blue and purple and red and the best linen, and of the maker of cloth; in all the arts of the designer and the trained workman they are expert.
