Genesis 15:4And behold, the word of Jehovah [came] to him, saying, This shall not be thine heir, but he that will come forth out of thy body shall be thine heir. And immediately the word of the Lord came to him, saying: He shall not be thy heir: but he that shall come out of thy bowels, him shalt thou have for thy heir. Then said the Lord, This man will not get the heritage, but a son of your body will have your property after you.
Genesis 15:5And he led him out, and said, Look now toward the heavens, and number the stars, if thou be able to number them. And he said to him, So shall thy seed be!And he thought him forth abroad, and said to him: Look up to heaven and number the stars, if thou canst. And he said to him: So shall thy seed be.And he took him out into the open air, and said to him, Let your eyes be lifted to heaven, and see if the stars may be numbered; even so will your seed be.
Genesis 15:6And he believed Jehovah; and he reckoned it to him [as] righteousness.Abram believed God, and it was reputed to him unto justice. And he had faith in the Lord, and it was put to his account as righteousness.

Genesis 15:14But also that nation which they shall serve I will judge; and afterwards they shall come out with great property. But I will judge the nation which they shall serve, and after this they shall come out with great substance. But I will be the judge of that nation whose servants they are, and they will come out from among them with great wealth.
