John 15:1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love; as I also have kept my Father's commandments, and do abide in his love.I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
John 15:2[As to] every branch in me not bearing fruit, he takes it away; and [as to] every one bearing fruit, he purges it that it may bring forth more fruit. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and your joy may be filled.Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
John 15:3Ye are already clean by reason of the word which I have spoken to you. This is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you.Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
John 15:4Abide in me and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abide in the vine, thus neither [can] ye unless ye abide in me.Greater love than this no man hath, that a man lay down his life for his friends.Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
John 15:5I am the vine, ye [are] the branches. He that abides in me and I in him, *he* bears much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing. You are my friends, if you do the things that I command you.I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
John 15:6Unless any one abide in me he is cast out as the branch, and is dried up; and they gather them and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.I will not now call you servants: for the servant knoweth not what his lord doth. But I have called you friends: because all things whatsoever I have heard of my Father, I have made known to you.If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
John 15:7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will and it shall come to pass to you.You have not chosen me: but I have chosen you; and have appointed you, that you should go, and should bring forth fruit; and your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
John 15:8In this is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit, and ye shall become disciples of mine. These things I command you, that you love one another.Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
John 15:9As the Father has loved me, I also have loved you: abide in my love.If the world hate you, know ye, that it hath hated me before you.As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
John 15:10If ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love, as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.If you had been of the world, the world would love its own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
John 15:11I have spoken these things to you that my joy may be in you, and your joy be full.Remember my word that I said to you: The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you: if they have kept my word, they will keep yours also. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
John 15:12This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.But all these things they will do to you for my name's sake: because they know not him who sent me.This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
John 15:13No one has greater love than this, that one should lay down his life for his friends. If I had not come, and spoken to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:14Ye are my friends if ye practise whatever I command you.He that hateth me, hateth my Father also.Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
John 15:15I call you no longer bondmen, for the bondman does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things which I have heard of my Father I have made known to you.If I had not done among them the works that no other man hath done, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father.Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.
John 15:16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and have set you that ye should go and [that] ye should bear fruit, and [that] your fruit should abide, that whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name he may give you.But that the word may be fulfilled which is written in their law: They hated me without cause.Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
John 15:17These things I command you, that ye love one another. But when the Paraclete cometh, whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceedeth from the Father, he shall give testimony of me.These things I command you, that ye love one another.
John 15:18If the world hate you, know that it has hated me before you.And you shall give testimony, because you are with me from the beginning. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
John 15:19If ye were of the world, the world would love its own; but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on account of this the world hates you.If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
John 15:20Remember the word which I said unto you, The bondman is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my word, they will keep also yours.Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
John 15:21But they will do all these things to you on account of my name, because they have not known him that sent me.But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
John 15:22If I had not come and spoken to them, they had not had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
John 15:23He that hates me hates also my Father. He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
John 15:24If I had not done among them the works which no other one has done, they had not had sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.
John 15:25But that the word written in their law might be fulfilled, They hated me without a cause. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
John 15:26But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes forth from with the Father, *he* shall bear witness concerning me;But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
John 15:27and ye too bear witness, because ye are with me from [the] beginning. And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
