| John 21:1 | After these things Jesus manifested himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. And he manifested [himself] thus. | After this, Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. And Jesus did not say to him: He should not die; but, So I will have him to remain till I come, what is it to thee? | This saying therefore went forth among the brothers, that that disciple wouldn't die. Yet Jesus didn't say to him that he wouldn't die, but, "If I desire that he stay until I come, what is that to you?" |
