| Luke 16:1 | And he said also to [his] disciples, There was a certain rich man who had a steward, and *he* was accused to him as wasting his goods. | And he said also to his disciples: There was a certain rich man who had a steward: and the same was accused unto him, that he had wasted his goods. | He said also to his disciples, "There was a certain rich man, who had a manager. The same was accused to him of wasting his possessions. |
| Luke 16:2 | And having called him, he said to him, What [is] this that I hear of thee? give the reckoning of thy stewardship, for thou canst be no longer steward. | And he called him, and said to him: How is it that I hear this of thee? give an account of thy stewardship: for now thou canst be steward no longer. | He called him, and said to him, 'What is this that I hear about you? Give an accounting of your management, for you can no longer be manager.' |
| Luke 16:3 | And the steward said within himself, What shall I do; for my lord is taking the stewardship from me? I am not able to dig; I am ashamed to beg. | And the steward said within himself: What shall I do, because my lord taketh away from me the stewardship?
