Genesis 17:1And Abram was ninety-nine years old, when Jehovah appeared to Abram, and said to him, I [am] the Almighty ùGod: walk before my face, and be perfect.And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, Jehovah appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
Genesis 17:2And I will set my covenant between me and thee, and will very greatly multiply thee.And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.
Genesis 17:3And Abram fell on his face; and God talked with him, saying,And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
Genesis 17:4It is I: behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of a multitude of nations.As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be the father of a multitude of nations.
Genesis 17:5And thy name shall no more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of a multitude of nations have I made thee.Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for the father of a multitude of nations have I made thee.
Genesis 17:6And I will make thee exceedingly fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
Genesis 17:7And I will establish my covenant between me and thee, and thy seed after thee in their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to thee, and to thy seed after thee.And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee and to thy seed after thee.
Genesis 17:8And I give to thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land of thy sojourning, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be a God to them.And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land of thy sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
Genesis 17:9And God said to Abraham, And [as for] thee, thou shalt keep my covenant, thou and thy seed after thee in their generations.And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. And God said unto Abraham, And as for thee, thou shalt keep my covenant, thou, and thy seed after thee throughout their generations.
Genesis 17:10This is my covenant which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee that every male among you be circumcised.This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee: every male among you shall be circumcised.
Genesis 17:11And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and [that] shall be a sign of the covenant between me and you.And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you. And ye shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of a covenant betwixt me and you.
Genesis 17:12And at eight days old shall every male in your generations be circumcised among you he who is born in the house, and he who is bought with money, any stranger who is not of thy seed.And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed. And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every male throughout your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any foreigner that is not of thy seed.
Genesis 17:13He who is born in thy house, and he who is bought with thy money, must be circumcised; and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
Genesis 17:14And the uncircumcised male who hath not been circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that soul shall be cut off from his peoples: he hath broken my covenant.And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant. And the uncircumcised male who is not circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
Genesis 17:15And God said to Abraham, [As to] Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall be her name.And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be. And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.
Genesis 17:16And I will bless her, and I will give thee a son also of her; and I will bless her, and she shall become nations: kings of peoples shall be of her.And I will bless her, and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her. And I will bless her, and moreover I will give thee a son of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be [a mother of] nations; kings of peoples shall be of her.
Genesis 17:17And Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall [a child] be born to him that is a hundred years old? and shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear?Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear? Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is a hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?
Genesis 17:18And Abraham said to God, Oh that Ishmael might live before thee!And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee! And Abraham said unto God, Oh that Ishmael might live before thee!
Genesis 17:19And God said, Sarah thy wife shall indeed bear thee a son; and thou shalt call his name Isaac; and I will establish my covenant with him, for an everlasting covenant for his seed after him.And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. And God said, Nay, but Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his seed after him.
Genesis 17:20And for Ishmael I have heard thee: behold, I will bless him, and will make him fruitful, and will very greatly multiply him; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.
Genesis 17:21But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to thee at this appointed time in the next year.But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year. But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear unto thee at this set time in the next year.
Genesis 17:22And he left off talking with him; and God went up from Abraham.And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham. And he left off talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.
Genesis 17:23And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all who were born in his house, and all who were bought with his money every male among the people of Abraham's house and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin on that same day, as God had said to him.And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him. And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham's house, and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.
Genesis 17:24And Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
Genesis 17:25And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
