So, when they were together, they said to him, Lord, will you at this time give back the kingdom to Israel?
Acts 1:7And he said to them, It is not yours to know times or seasons, which the Father has placed in his own authority; And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. And he said to them, It is not for you to have knowledge of the time and the order of events which the Father has kept in his control.
Acts 1:8but ye will receive power, the Holy Spirit having come upon you, and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven, shall thus come in the manner in which ye have beheld him going into heaven.Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. And said, O men of Galilee, why are you looking up into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken from you into heaven, will come again, in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.

Acts 1:16Brethren, it was necessary that the scripture should have been fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before, by the mouth of David, concerning Judas, who became guide to those who took Jesus;Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.
