| Romans 8:1 | [There is] then now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus. | There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus; | There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. |
| Romans 8:2 | For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and of death. | for the Spirit's Law telling of Life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the Law that deals only with sin and death. | For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. |
| Romans 8:3 | For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, having sent his own Son, in likeness of flesh of sin, and for sin, has condemned sin in the flesh, | For what was impossible to the Law powerless as it was because it acted through frail humanity God effected.
