| 2nd-Kings 14:1 | In the second year of Joash son of Jehoahaz, king of Israel, began Amaziah the son of Joash, king of Judah, to reign. | In the second year of Joash son of Joahaz king of Israel began Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah to reign. | In the second year of Joash, son of Joahaz, king of Israel, Amaziah, the son of Joash, became king of Judah. |

| 2nd-Kings 14:10 | Thou hast indeed smitten Edom, and thy heart has lifted thee up: boast thyself, and abide at home; for why shouldest thou contend with misfortune, that thou shouldest fall, thou, and Judah with thee? | You have indeed struck Edom, and your heart has lifted you up: glory of it, and abide at home; for why should you meddle to [your] hurt, that you should fall, even you, and Judah with you? | It is true that you have overcome Edom and your heart is uplifted; let that glory be enough for you, and keep in your country; why do you make causes of trouble, putting yourself, and Judah with you, in danger of downfall? |
