| Romans 15:1 | But *we* ought, we that are strong, to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. | Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves. | We who are strong have to be a support to the feeble, and not give pleasure to ourselves. |
| Romans 15:2 | Let each one of us please his neighbour with a view to what is good, to edification. | Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up. | Let every one of us give pleasure to his neighbour for his good, to make him strong. |
| Romans 15:3 | For the Christ also did not please himself; but according as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproach thee have fallen upon me. | For Christ also didn't please himself. But, as it is written, "The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me." | For Christ did not give pleasure to himself, but, as it is said, The bitter words of those who were angry with you came on me. |
| Romans 15:4 | For as many things as have been written before have been written for our instruction, that through endurance and through encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope. | For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through patience and through comfort of the scriptures we might have hope. | Now those things which were put down in writing before our time were for our learning, so that through quiet waiting and through the comfort of the holy Writings we might have hope. |

| Romans 15:24 | whenever I should go to Spain; (for I hope to see you as I go through, and by you to be set forward thither, if first I shall have been in part filled with your company;) | whenever I journey to Spain, I will come to you. For I hope to see you on my journey, and to be helped on my way there by you, if first I may enjoy your company for a while. | Whenever I go to Spain (for it is my hope to see you on my way, and to be sent on there by you, if first I may in some measure have been comforted by your company) |

| Romans 15:27 | They have been well pleased indeed, and they are their debtors; for if the nations have participated in their spiritual things, they ought also in fleshly to minister to them. | Yes, it has been their good pleasure, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they owe it to them also to serve them in fleshly things. | Yes, it has been their good pleasure; and they are in their debt. | Romans 15:31 | that I may be saved from those that do not believe in Judaea; and that my ministry which [I have] for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints; | that I may be delivered from those who are disobedient in Judea, and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints; | So that I may be kept safe from those in Judaea who have not put themselves under the rule of God, and that the help which I am taking for Jerusalem may be pleasing to the saints; |
| Romans 15:32 | in order that I may come to you in joy by God's will, and that I may be refreshed with you. | that I may come to you in joy through the will of God, and together with you, find rest. | So that I may come to you in joy by the good pleasure of God, and have rest with you. |
