Hosea 7:1When I would heal Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim is discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they practise falsehood; and the thief entereth in, [and] the troop of robbers assaileth without. When I would heal Israel, then is the iniquity of Ephraim uncovered, and the wickedness of Samaria; for they commit falsehood, and the thief enters in, and the troop of robbers ravages outside. When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was disclosed, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers strippeth without.
Hosea 7:2And they say not in their hearts [that] I remember all their wickedness: now do their own doings encompass them; they are before my face. They don't consider in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now have their own doings beset them about; they are before my face. And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them around; they are before my face.
Hosea 7:3They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies. They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies. They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.
Hosea 7:4They all practise adultery, as an oven heated by the baker: he ceaseth from stirring [the fire] after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened. They are all adulterers; they are as an oven heated by the baker; he ceases to stir [the fire], from the kneading of the dough, until it be leavened. They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it is leavened.
Hosea 7:5In the day of our king, the princes made themselves sick with the heat of wine: he stretched out his hand to scorners. On the day of our king the princes made themselves sick with the heat of wine; he stretched out his hand with scoffers. In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.
Hosea 7:6For they have applied their heart like an oven to their lying in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth like a flaming fire. For they have made ready their heart like an oven, while they lie in wait: their baker sleeps all the night; in the morning it burns as a flaming fire. For they have made ready their heart like an oven, while they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.
Hosea 7:7They are all hot as an oven, and devour their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me.They are all hot as an oven, and devour their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them who calls to me.They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth to me.
Hosea 7:8Ephraim, he mixeth himself with the peoples; Ephraim is a cake not turned.Ephraim, he mixes himself among the peoples; Ephraim is a cake not turned.Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a cake not turned.
Hosea 7:9Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth [it] not; yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, and he knoweth [it] not.Strangers have devoured his strength, and he doesn't know [it]: yes, gray hairs are here and there on him, and he doesn't know [it].Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yes, gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.
Hosea 7:10And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face; and they do not return to Jehovah their God, nor seek him for all this. The pride of Israel does testify to his face: yet they have not returned to Yahweh their God, nor sought him, for all this. And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.
Hosea 7:11And Ephraim is become like a silly dove without understanding: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.Ephraim is like a silly dove, without understanding: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.
Hosea 7:12When they go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowl of the heavens; I will chastise them, according as their assembly hath heard. When they shall go, I will spread my net on them; I will bring them down as the birds of the sky; I will chastise them, as their congregation has heard. When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.
Hosea 7:13Woe unto them! for they have wandered from me; destruction unto them! for they have transgressed against me. And I would redeem them; but they speak lies against me.Woe to them! for they have wandered from me; destruction to them! for they have trespassed against me: though I would redeem them, yet they have spoken lies against me.Woe to them! for they have fled from me: destruction to them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
Hosea 7:14And they cried not unto me in their heart, when they howled upon their beds; they assemble themselves for corn and new wine; they have turned aside from me.They have not cried to me with their heart, but they howl on their beds: they assemble themselves for grain and new wine; they rebel against me.And they have not cried to me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel against me.
Hosea 7:15I have indeed trained, I have strengthened their arms, but they imagine mischief against me.Though I have taught and strengthened their arms, yet do they devise mischief against me.Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief against me.
Hosea 7:16They return, [but] not to the [Most] High: they are like a deceitful bow. Their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt. They return, but not to [him who is] on high; they are like a deceitful bow; their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt. They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.
