| John 17:1 | These things Jesus spoke, and lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee; | Jesus said these things, and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he said, "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you; | When Jesus had thus spoken, He raised his eyes towards Heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. Glorify Thy Son that the Son may glorify Thee; |
| John 17:2 | as thou hast given him authority over all flesh, that [as to] all that thou hast given to him, he should give them life eternal. | even as you gave him authority over all flesh, that to all whom you have given him, he will give eternal life. | even as Thou hast given Him authority over all mankind, so that on all whom Thou hast given Him He may bestow the Life of the Ages. |
| John 17:3 | And this is the eternal life, that they should know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. | This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ. | And in this consists the Life of the Ages in knowing Thee the only true God and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent. |

| John 17:15 | I do not demand that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them out of evil. | I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one. | I do not ask that Thou wilt remove them out of the world, but that Thou wilt protect them from the Evil one. |
| John 17:16 | They are not of the world, as I am not of the world. | They are not of the world even as I am not of the world. | They do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. |
| John 17:17 | Sanctify them by the truth: thy word is truth. | Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth. | Make them holy in the truth: Thy Message is truth. |
