| Matthew 7:1 | Judge not, that ye may not be judged; | "Don't judge, so that you won't be judged. | "Judge not, that you may not be judged; |
| Matthew 7:2 | for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you. | For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged: and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you. | for your own judgement will be dealt and your own measure meted to yourselves. |
| Matthew 7:3 | But why lookest thou on the mote that is in the eye of thy brother, but observest not the beam that is in thine eye? | Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but don't consider the beam that is in your own eye? | And why do you look at the splinter in your brother's eye, and not notice the beam which is in your own eye? |
| Matthew 7:4 | Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Allow [me], I will cast out the mote from thine eye; and behold, the beam is in thine eye? | Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye? | Or how say to your brother, `Allow me to take the splinter out of your eye,' while the beam is in your own eye? |
