Acts 15:1And certain persons, having come down from Judaea, taught the brethren, If ye shall not have been circumcised according to the custom of Moses, ye cannot be saved.Some men came down from Judea and taught the brothers, "Unless you are circumcised after the custom of Moses, you can't be saved."And certain having come down from Judea, were teaching the brethren `If ye be not circumcised after the custom of Moses, ye are not able to be saved;`
Acts 15:2A commotion therefore having taken place, and no small discussion on the part of Paul and Barnabas against them, they arranged that Paul and Barnabas, and certain others from amongst them, should go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.Therefore when Paul and Barnabas had no small discord and discussion with them, they appointed Paul and Barnabas, and some others of them, to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.there having been, therefore, not a little dissension and disputation to Paul and Barnabas with them, they arranged for Paul and Barnabas, and certain others of them, to go up unto the apostles and elders to Jerusalem about this question,
Acts 15:3They therefore, having been set on their way by the assembly, passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, relating the conversion of [those of] the nations. And they caused great joy to all the brethren.They, being sent on their way by the assembly, passed through both Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles. They caused great joy to all the brothers.they indeed, then, having been sent forward by the assembly, were passing through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the nations, and they were causing great joy to all the brethren.
Acts 15:4And being arrived at Jerusalem, they were received by the assembly, and the apostles, and the elders, and related all that God had wrought with them.When they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the assembly and the apostles and the elders, and they reported all things that God had done with them.And having come to Jerusalem, they were received by the assembly, and the apostles, and the elders, they declared also as many things as God did with them;
Acts 15:5And some of those who were of the sect of the Pharisees, who believed, rose up from among [them], saying that they ought to circumcise them and enjoin them to keep the law of Moses.But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, "It is necessary to circumcise them, and to charge them to keep the law of Moses."and there rose up certain of those of the sect of the Pharisees who believed, saying `It behoveth to circumcise them, to command them also to keep the law of Moses.`

Acts 15:7And much discussion having taken place, Peter, standing up, said to them, Brethren, *ye* know that from the earliest days God amongst you chose that the nations by my mouth should hear the word of the glad tidings and believe.When there had been much discussion, Peter rose up and said to them, "Brothers, you know that a good while ago God made choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.and there having been much disputing, Peter having risen up said unto them, `Men, brethren, ye know that from former days, God among us did make choice, through my mouth, for the nations to hear the word of the good news, and to believe;
Acts 15:8And the heart-knowing God bore them witness, giving [them] the Holy Spirit as to us also,God, who knows the heart, testified about them, giving them the Holy Spirit, just like he did to us.and the heart-knowing God did bare them testimony, having given to them the Holy Spirit, even as also to us,
Acts 15:9and put no difference between us and them, having purified their hearts by faith.He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.and did put no difference also between us and them, by the faith having purified their hearts;
Acts 15:10Now therefore why tempt ye God, by putting a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?Now therefore why do you tempt God, that you should put a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?now, therefore, why do ye tempt God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
Acts 15:11But we believe that we shall be saved by the grace of the Lord Jesus, in the same manner as they also.But we believe that we are saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they are."but, through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, we believe to be saved, even as also they.`
Acts 15:12And all the multitude kept silence and listened to Barnabas and Paul relating all the signs and wonders which God had wrought among the nations by them.All the multitude kept silence, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul reporting what signs and wonders God had done among the Gentiles through them.And all the multitude did keep silence, and were hearkening to Barnabas and Paul, declaring as many signs and wonders as God did among the nations through them;
Acts 15:13And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Brethren, listen to me:After they were silent, James answered, "Brothers, listen to me.and after they are silent, James answered, saying, `Men, brethren, hearken to me;
Acts 15:14Simon has related how God first visited to take out of [the] nations a people for his name.Simeon has reported how God first visited the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.Simeon did declare how at first God did look after to take out of the nations a people for His name,
Acts 15:15And with this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written:This agrees with the words of the prophets. As it is written,and to this agree the words of the prophets, as it hath been written:
Acts 15:16After these things I will return, and will rebuild the tabernacle of David which is fallen, and will rebuild its ruins, and will set it up,'After these things I will return. I will again build the tent of David, which has fallen. I will again build its ruins. I will set it up:After these things I will turn back, and I will build again the tabernacle of David, that is fallen down, and its ruins I will build again, and will set it upright
Acts 15:17so that the residue of men may seek out the Lord, and all the nations on whom my name is invoked, saith [the] Lord, who does these thingsThat the rest of men may seek after the Lord; All the Gentiles who are called by my name, Says the Lord, who does all these things.that the residue of men may seek after the Lord, and all the nations, upon whom My name hath been called, saith the Lord, who is doing all these things.
Acts 15:18known from eternity.All his works are known to God from eternity.'`Known from the ages to God are all His works;
Acts 15:19Wherefore *I* judge, not to trouble those who from the nations turn to God;"Therefore my judgment is that we don't trouble those from among the Gentiles who turn to God,wherefore I judge: not to trouble those who from the nations do turn back to God,
Acts 15:20but to write to them to abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from what is strangled, and from blood.but that we write to them that they abstain from the pollution of idols, from sexual immorality, from what is strangled, and from blood.but to write to them to abstain from the pollutions of the idols, and the whoredom, and the strangled thing; and the blood;
Acts 15:21For Moses, from generations of old, has in every city those who preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath.For Moses from generations of old has in every city those who preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath."for Moses from former generations in every city hath those preaching him in the synagogues every sabbath being read.`
Acts 15:22Then it seemed good to the apostles and to the elders, with the whole assembly, to send chosen men from among them with Paul and Barnabas to Antioch, Judas called Barsabas and Silas, leading men among the brethren,Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole assembly, to choose men out of their company, and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, chief men among the brothers.Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole assembly, chosen men out of themselves to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren
Acts 15:23having by their hand written [thus]: The apostles, and the elders, and the brethren, to the brethren who are from among [the] nations at Antioch, and [in] Syria and Cilicia, greeting:They wrote these things by their hand: "The apostles, the elders, and the brothers, to the brothers who are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia: greetings.having written through their hand thus: `The apostles, and the elders, and the brethren, to those in Antioch, and Syria, and Cilicia, brethren, who [are] of the nations, greeting;
Acts 15:24Inasmuch as we have heard that some who went out from amongst us have troubled you by words, upsetting your souls, [saying that ye must be circumcised and keep the law]; to whom we gave no commandment;Because we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, 'You must be circumcised and keep the law,' to whom we gave no commandment;seeing we have heard that certain having gone forth from us did trouble you with words, subverting your souls, saying to be circumcised and to keep the law, to whom we did give no charge,
Acts 15:25it seemed good to us, having arrived at a common judgment, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,it seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose out men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,it seemed good to us, having come together with one accord, chosen men to send unto you, with our beloved Barnabas and Paul
Acts 15:26men who have given up their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.men who have given up their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ
Acts 15:27We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who themselves also will tell you by word [of mouth] the same things.We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who themselves will also tell you the same things by word of mouth.we have sent, therefore, Judas and Silas, and they by word are telling the same things.
Acts 15:28For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay no greater burden on you than these necessary things:`For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, no more burden to lay upon you, except these necessary things:
Acts 15:29to abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what is strangled, and from fornication; keeping yourselves from which ye will do well. Farewell.that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality, from which if you keep yourselves, it will be well with you. Farewell."to abstain from things offered to idols, and blood, and a strangled thing, and whoredom; from which keeping yourselves, ye shall do well; be strong!`
Acts 15:30They therefore, being let go, came to Antioch, and having gathered the multitude delivered to [them] the epistle.So, when they were sent off, they came to Antioch. Having gathered the multitude together, they delivered the letter.They then, indeed, having been let go, went to Antioch, and having brought the multitude together, did deliver the epistle,
Acts 15:31And having read it, they rejoiced at the consolation.When they had read it, they rejoiced for the consolation.and they having read, did rejoice for the consolation;
Acts 15:32And Judas and Silas, being themselves also prophets, exhorted the brethren with much discourse, and strengthened them.Judas and Silas, also being prophets themselves, encouraged the brothers with many words, and strengthened them.Judas also and Silas, being themselves also prophets, through much discourse did exhort the brethren, and confirm,
Acts 15:33And having passed some time [there], they were let go in peace from the brethren to those who sent them.After they had spent some time there, they were sent back with greetings from the brothers to the apostles.and having passed some time, they were let go with peace from the brethren unto the apostles;
Acts 15:34and it seemed good to Silas to remain there still.
Acts 15:35And Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and announcing the glad tidings, with many others also, of the word of the Lord.But Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.And Paul and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and proclaiming good news with many others also the word of the Lord;
Acts 15:36But after certain days Paul said to Barnabas, Let us return now and visit the brethren in every city where we have announced the word of the Lord, [and see] how they are getting on.After some days Paul said to Barnabas, "Let's return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing."and after certain days, Paul said unto Barnabas, `Having turned back again, we may look after our brethren, in every city in which we have preached the word of the Lord how they are.`
Acts 15:37And Barnabas proposed to take with [them] John also, called Mark;Barnabas planned to take John with them also, who was called Mark.And Barnabas counseled to take with [them] John called Mark,
Acts 15:38but Paul thought it not well to take with them him who had abandoned them, [going back] from Pamphylia, and had not gone with them to the work.But Paul didn't think that it was a good idea to take with them someone who withdrew from them from Pamphylia, and didn't go with them to do the work.and Paul was not thinking it good to take him with them who withdrew from them from Pamphylia, and did not go with them to the work;
Acts 15:39There arose therefore very warm feeling, so that they separated from one another; and Barnabas taking Mark sailed away to Cyprus;Then there arose a sharp contention, so that they separated from each other. Barnabas took Mark with him, and sailed away to Cyprus,there came, therefore, a sharp contention, so that they were parted from one another, and Barnabas having taken Mark, did sail to Cyprus,
Acts 15:40but Paul having chosen Silas went forth, committed by the brethren to the grace of God.but Paul chose Silas, and went out, being commended by the brothers to the grace of God.and Paul having chosen Silas, went forth, having been given up to the grace of God by the brethren;
Acts 15:41And he passed through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the assemblies.He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the assemblies.and he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the assemblies.
