Luke 5:1 | And it came to pass, as the crowd pressed on him to hear the word of God, that he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret: | And it came to pass, in the multitude pressing on him to hear the word of God, that he was standing beside the lake of Gennesaret, | Now it came to pass, while the multitude pressed upon him and heard the word of God, that he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret; |
Luke 5:2 | and he saw two ships standing by the lake, but the fishermen, having come down from them, were washing their nets. | and he saw two boats standing beside the lake, and the fishers, having gone away from them, were washing the nets, | and he saw two boats standing by the lake: but the fishermen had gone out of them, and were washing their nets. |

Luke 5:31 | And Jesus answering said to them, They that are in sound health have not need of a physician, but those that are ill. | And Jesus answering said unto them, `They who are well have no need of a physician, but they that are ill: | And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are in health have no need of a physician; but they that are sick. |

Luke 5:36 | And he spoke also a parable to them: No one puts a piece of a new garment upon an old garment, otherwise he will both rend the new, and the piece which is from the new will not suit with the old. | And he spake also a simile unto them `No one a patch of new clothing doth put on old clothing, and if otherwise, the new also doth make a rent, and with the old the patch doth not agree, that [is] from the new. | And he spake also a parable unto them: No man rendeth a piece from a new garment and putteth it upon an old garment; else he will rend the new, and also the piece from the new will not agree with the old. |
Luke 5:37 | And no one puts new wine into old skins, otherwise the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; | `And no one doth put new wine into old skins, and if otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins, and itself will be poured out, and the skins will be destroyed; | And no man putteth new wine into old wine-skins; else the new wine will burst the skins, and itself will be spilled, and the skins will perish. |
Luke 5:38 | but new wine is to be put into new skins, and both are preserved. | but new wine into new skins is to be put, and both are preserved together; | But new wine must be put into fresh wine-skins. |
Luke 5:39 | And no one having drunk old wine [straightway] wishes for new, for he says, The old is better. | and no one having drunk old [wine], doth immediately wish new, for he saith, The old is better.` | And no man having drunk old [wine] desireth new; for he saith, The old is good. |
