| Hebrews 4:1 | Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left of entering into his rest, any one of you might seem to have failed [of it]. | We may fear, then, lest a promise being left of entering into His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short, | Let us therefore fear, lest a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. |
| Hebrews 4:2 | For indeed we have had glad tidings presented to us, even as they also; but the word of the report did not profit *them*, not being mixed with faith in those who heard. | for we also are having good news proclaimed, even as they, but the word heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard, | For to us was the gospel preached, as well as to them: but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. |
