| Acts 10:1 | But a certain man in Caesarea, by name Cornelius, a centurion of the band called Italic, | And there was a certain man in Cesarea, by name Cornelius, a centurion from a band called Italian, | Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, Cornelius by name, a centurion of what was called the Italian Regiment, |
| Acts 10:2 | pious, and fearing God with all his house, [both] giving much alms to the people, and supplicating God continually, | pious, and fearing God with all his house, doing also many kind acts to the people, and beseeching God always, | a devout man, and one who feared God with all his house, who gave alms generously to the people, and always prayed to God. |

| Acts 10:18 | and having called [some one], they inquired if Simon who was surnamed Peter was lodged there. | and having called, they were asking if Simon, who is surnamed Peter, doth lodge here? | and called and asked whether Simon, who was surnamed Peter, was lodging there. |
| Acts 10:19 | But as Peter continued pondering over the vision, the Spirit said to him, Behold, three men seek thee; | And Peter thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, `Lo, three men do seek thee; | While Peter thought about the vision, the Spirit said to him, "Behold, three men seek you. |
| Acts 10:20 | but rise up, go down, and go with them, nothing doubting, because *I* have sent them. | but having risen, go down and go on with them, nothing doubting, because I have sent them;` | But arise, get down, and go with them, doubting nothing; for I have sent them." |
| Acts 10:21 | And Peter going down to the men said, Behold, *I* am he whom ye seek: what is the cause for which ye come? | and Peter having come down unto the men who have been sent from Cornelius unto him, said, `Lo, I am he whom ye seek, what [is] the cause for which ye are present?` | Peter went down to the men, and said, "Behold, I am he whom you seek. Why have you come?" |
| Acts 10:22 | And they said, Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous man, and fearing God, and borne witness to by the whole nation of the Jews, has been divinely instructed by a holy angel to send for thee to his house, and hear words from thee. | And they said, `Cornelius, a centurion, a man righteous and fearing God, well testified to, also, by all the nation of the Jews, was divinely warned by a holy messenger to send for thee, to his house, and to hear sayings from thee.` | They said, "Cornelius a centurion, a righteous man and one who fears God, and well spoken of by all the nation of the Jews, was directed by a holy angel to invite you to his house, and to listen to what you say. |

I inquire therefore for what reason ye have sent for me. | therefore also without gainsaying I came, having been sent for; I ask, therefore, for what matter ye did send for me?` | Therefore also I came without complaint when I was sent for. | Acts 10:31 | and said, Cornelius, thy prayer has been heard, and thy alms have come in remembrance before God. | and he said, Cornelius, thy prayer was heard, and thy kind acts were remembered before God; | and said, 'Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God. |
