| Ezekiel 27:1 | And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying: | And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying: | The word of Yahweh came again to me, saying, |
| Ezekiel 27:2 | And thou, son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyre, | `And thou, son of man, lift up concerning Tyre a lamentation, and thou hast said to Tyre: | You, son of man, take up a lamentation over Tyre; |
| Ezekiel 27:3 | and say unto Tyre: O thou that art situate at the entries of the sea, and traffickest with the peoples in many isles, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Thou, Tyre, hast said, I am perfect in beauty. | O dweller on the entrances of the sea, Merchant of the peoples unto many isles, Thus said the Lord Jehovah: O Tyre, thou thou hast said: I [am] the perfection of beauty. | and tell Tyre, you who dwell at the entry of the sea, who are the merchant of the peoples to many isles, thus says the Lord Yahweh: You, Tyre, have said, I am perfect in beauty. |
| Ezekiel 27:4 | Thy borders are in the heart of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty. | In the heart of the seas [are] thy borders, Thy builders have perfected thy beauty. | Your borders are in the heart of the seas; your builders have perfected your beauty. |
| Ezekiel 27:5 | They made all thy double boards of cypress-trees of Senir; they took cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee. | Of firs of Senir they have built to thee all thy double-boarded ships, Of cedars of Lebanon they have taken to make a mast for thee, | They have made all your planks of fir-trees from Senir; they have taken a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you. |
| Ezekiel 27:6 | Of the oaks of Bashan did they make thine oars; they made thy benches of ivory, inlaid in box-wood, out of the isles of Chittim. | Of oaks of Bashan they made thine oars, Thy bench they have made of ivory, A branch of Ashurim from isles of Chittim. | Of the oaks of Bashan have they made your oars; they have made your benches of ivory inlaid in boxwood, from the isles of Kittim. |
| Ezekiel 27:7 | Byssus with broidered work from Egypt was thy sail, to serve thee for a banner; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was thine awning. | Of fine linen with embroidery from Egypt hath been thy sail, To be to thee for an ensign, Of blue and purple from isles of Elishah hath been thy covering. | Of fine linen with embroidered work from Egypt was your sail, that it might be to you for an ensign; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was your awning. |

| Ezekiel 27:9 | The elders of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee repairing thy leaks; all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee, to barter with thee. | Elders of Gebal and its wise men have been in thee, Strengthening thy breach; All ships of the sea and their mariners, Have been in thee, to trade [with] thy merchandise. | The old men of Gebal and the wise men of it were in you your repairers of ship seams: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in you to deal in your merchandise. |

| Ezekiel 27:12 | Tarshish dealt with thee by reason of the abundance of all substance; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they furnished thy markets. | Tarshish [is] thy merchant, Because of the abundance of all wealth, For silver, iron, tin, and lead, They have given out thy remnants. | Tarshish was your merchant by reason of the multitude of all kinds of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded for your wares. |

| Ezekiel 27:15 | The children of Dedan were thy traffickers; many isles were the mart of thy hand: they rendered in payment horns of ivory, and ebony. | Sons of Dedan [are] thy merchants, Many isles [are] the mart of thy hand, Horns of ivory and ebony they sent back thy reward. | The men of Dedan were your traffickers; many isles were the market of your hand: they brought you in exchange horns of ivory and ebony. |

| Ezekiel 27:31 | And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird themselves with sackcloth; and they shall weep for thee in bitterness of soul with bitter mourning. | And they have made for thee baldness, And they have girded on sackcloth, And they have wept for thee, In bitterness of soul a bitter mourning. | and they shall make themselves bald for you, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for you in bitterness of soul with bitter mourning. |
| Ezekiel 27:32 | And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, [saying,] Who is like Tyre, like her that is destroyed in the midst of the sea? | And lifted up for thee have their sons a lamentation, And they have lamented over thee, who [is] as Tyre? | Ezekiel 27:33 | When thy wares went forth over the seas, thou filledst many peoples; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the abundance of thy substance and of thy merchandise. | With the outgoing of thy remnants from the seas, Thou hast filled many peoples, With the abundance of thy riches, and thy merchandise, Thou hast made rich things of earth. | When your wares went forth out of the seas, you filled many peoples; you did enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of your riches and of your merchandise. |
