Mark 8:1In those days again, when there was a great multitude, and had nothing to eat; calling his disciples together, he saith to them:In those days, when there was again a great multitude, and they had nothing to eat, he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples, and saith to them,

Mark 8:3And if I shall send them away fasting to their home, they will faint in the way; for some of them came from afar off.and if I send them away fasting to their home, they will faint on the way; and some of them are come from far. Mark 8:4And his disciples answered him: From whence can any one fill them here with bread in the wilderness?And his disciples answered him, Whence shall one be able to fill these men with bread here in a desert place? And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?
Mark 8:5And he asked them: How many loaves have ye? Who said: Seven.And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven. And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven.
Mark 8:6And taking the seven loaves, giving thanks, he broke, and gave to his disciples for to set before them; and they set them before the people.And he commandeth the multitude to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and having given thanks, he brake, and gave to his disciples, to set before them; and they set them before the multitude. Mark 8:8And they did eat and were filled; and they took up that which was left of the fragments, seven baskets.And they ate, and were filled: and they took up, of broken pieces that remained over, seven baskets. Mark 8:13And leaving them, he went up again into the ship, and passed to the other side of the water.And he left them, and again entering into [the boat] departed to the other side. And he left them, and entering into the boat again, departed to the other side.
Mark 8:14And they forgot to take bread; and they had but one loaf with them in the ship.And they forgot to take bread; and they had not in the boat with them more than one loaf. Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the boat with them more than one loaf.
Mark 8:15And he charged them, saying: Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod. Mark 8:17Which Jesus knowing, saith to them: Why do you reason, because you have no bread? do you not yet know nor understand? have you still your heart blinded?And Jesus perceiving it saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? do ye not yet perceive, neither understand? have ye your heart hardened? And when Jesus knew it, he saith to them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?
Mark 8:18Having eyes, see you not? and having ears, hear you not? neither do you remember.Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember? Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?
Mark 8:19When I broke the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took you up? They say to him, Twelve.When I brake the five loaves among the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve. When I divided the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say to him, Twelve.
Mark 8:20When also the seven loaves among four thousand, how many baskets of fragments took you up? And they say to him, Seven.And when the seven among the four thousand, how many basketfuls of broken pieces took ye up? And they say unto him, Seven. And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.
Mark 8:21And he said to them: How do you not yet understand?And he said unto them, Do ye not yet understand? And he said to them, How is it that ye do not understand?
Mark 8:22And they came to Bethsaida; and they bring to him a blind man, and they besought him that he would touch him.And they come unto Bethsaida. And they bring to him a blind man, and beseech him to touch him. And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man to him, and besought him to touch him.
Mark 8:23And taking the blind man by the hand, he led him out of the town; and spitting upon his eyes, laying his hands on him, he asked him if he saw any thing.And he took hold of the blind man by the hand, and brought him out of the village; and when he had spit on his eyes, and laid his hands upon him, he asked him, Seest thou aught? And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw aught.
Mark 8:24And looking up, he said: I see men as it were trees, walking.And he looked up, and said, I see men; for I behold [them] as trees, walking. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees walking.
Mark 8:25After that again he laid his hands upon his eyes, and he began to see, and was restored, so that he saw all things clearly.Then again he laid his hands upon his eyes; and he looked stedfastly, and was restored, and saw all things clearly. After that, he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

Mark 8:33Who turning about and seeing his disciples, threatened Peter, saying: Go behind me, Satan, because thou savorest not the things that are of God, but that are of men.But he turning about, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and saith, Get thee behind me, Satan; for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men. But when he had turned about, and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savorest not the things that are of God, but the things that are of men.
Mark 8:34And calling the multitude together with his disciples, he said to them: If any man will follow me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.And he called unto him the multitude with his disciples, and said unto them, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. And when he had called the people to him with his disciples also, he said to them, Whoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Mark 8:35For whosoever will save his life, shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel, shall save it.For whosoever would save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's shall save it. For whoever will save his life, shall lose it; but whoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
Mark 8:36For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his soul?For what doth it profit a man, to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life? For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul:
Mark 8:37Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?For what should a man give in exchange for his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
Mark 8:38For he that shall be ashamed of me, and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation: the Son of man also will be ashamed of him, when he shall come in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of man also shall be ashamed of him, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. Whoever therefore shall be ashamed of me, and of my words, in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also will the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
Mark 8:39And he said to them: Amen I say to you, that there are some of them that stand here, who shall not taste death, till they see the kingdom of God coming in power.
