Philippians 2:1If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of charity, if any society of the spirit, if any bowels of commiseration:If there is therefore any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassions, If there is therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
Philippians 2:2Fulfil ye my joy, that you may be of one mind, having the same charity, being of one accord, agreeing in sentiment.make full my joy, that ye be of the same mind, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind; Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Philippians 2:3Let nothing be done through contention, neither by vain glory: but in humility, let each esteem others better than themselves:[doing] nothing through faction or through vainglory, but in lowliness of mind each counting other better than himself; Let nothing be done through strife or vain glory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
Philippians 2:4Each one not considering the things that are his own, but those that are other men's.not looking each of you to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Philippians 2:5For let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Philippians 2:6Who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped, Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Philippians 2:7But emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men, and in habit found as a man.but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men; But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Philippians 2:8He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross.and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient [even] unto death, yea, the death of the cross. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient to death, even the death of the cross.
Philippians 2:9For which cause God also hath exalted him, and hath given him a name which is above all names:Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name; Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
Philippians 2:10That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those that are in heaven, on earth, and under the earth:that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven and [things] on earth and [things] under the earth, That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things on earth, and things under the earth;
Philippians 2:11And that every tongue should confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is in the glory of God the Father.and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:12Wherefore, my dearly beloved, (as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but much more now in my absence,) with fear and trembling work out your salvation.So then, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Philippians 2:13For it is God who worketh in you, both to will and to accomplish, according to his good will.for it is God who worketh in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure. For it is God who worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
Philippians 2:14And do ye all things without murmurings and hesitations;Do all things without murmurings and questionings: Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
Philippians 2:15That you may be blameless, and sincere children of God, without reproof, in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation; among whom you shine as lights in the world.that ye may become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom ye are seen as lights in the world, That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Philippians 2:16Holding forth the word of life to my glory in the day of Christ, because I have not run in vain, nor laboured in vain.holding forth the word of life; that I may have whereof to glory in the day of Christ, that I did not run in vain neither labor in vain. Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain.
Philippians 2:17Yea, and if I be made a victim upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice, and congratulate with you all.Yea, and if I am offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all: And if I am even offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.
Philippians 2:18And for the selfsame thing do you also rejoice, and congratulate with me.and in the same manner do ye also joy, and rejoice with me. For the same cause also do ye joy, and rejoice with me.
Philippians 2:19And I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy unto you shortly, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know the things concerning you.But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state. But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy shortly to you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.
Philippians 2:20For I have no man so of the same mind, who with sincere affection is solicitous for you.For I have no man likeminded, who will care truly for your state. For I have no man like-minded, who will naturally care for your state.
Philippians 2:21For all seek the things that are their own; not the things that are Jesus Christ's.For they all seek their own, not the things of Jesus Christ. For all seek their own, not the things of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2:22Now know ye the proof of him, that as a son with the father, so hath he served with me in the gospel.But ye know the proof of him, that, as a child [serveth] a father, [so] he served with me in furtherance of the gospel. But ye know the proof of him, that as a son with the father, he hath served with me in the gospel.
Philippians 2:23Him therefore I hope to send unto you immediately, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.Him therefore I hope to send forthwith, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me: Him therefore I hope to send presently, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.
Philippians 2:24And I trust in the Lord, that I myself also shall come to you shortly.but I trust in the Lord that I myself also shall come shortly. But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly.
Philippians 2:25But I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow labourer, and fellow soldier, but your apostle, and he that hath ministered to my wants.But I counted it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow-worker and fellow-soldier, and your messenger and minister to my need; Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labor, and fellow-soldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.
Philippians 2:26For indeed he longed after you all: and was sad, for that you had heard that he was sick.since he longed after you all, and was sore troubled, because ye had heard that he was sick: For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because ye had heard that he was sick.
Philippians 2:27For indeed he was sick, nigh unto death; but God had mercy on him; and not only on him, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.for indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, that I might not have sorrow upon sorrow. For indeed he was sick nigh to death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.
Philippians 2:28Therefore I sent him the more speedily: that seeing him again, you may rejoice, and I may be without sorrow.I have sent him therefore the more diligently, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful. I sent him therefore the more speedily, that, when ye see him again, ye may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.
Philippians 2:29Receive him therefore with all joy in the Lord; and treat with honour such as he is.Receive him therefore in the Lord with all joy; and hold such in honor: Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation:
Philippians 2:30Because for the work of Christ he came to the point of death: delivering his life, that he might fulfil that which on your part was wanting towards my service.because for the work of Christ he came nigh unto death, hazarding his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me. Because for the work of Christ he was nigh to death, not regarding his life, to supply the want of your service towards me.
