| Matthew 24:1 | And Jesus being come out of the temple, went away. And his disciples came to shew him the buildings of the temple. | And Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way; and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple. | Jesus had left the Temple and was going on His way, when His disciples came and called His attention to the Temple buildings. |
| Matthew 24:2 | And he answering, said to them: Do you see all these things? Amen I say to you there shall not be left here a stone upon a stone that shall not be destroyed. | But he answered and said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. | "You see all these?" He replied; "in solemn truth I tell you that there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be pulled down." |
| Matthew 24:3 | And when he was sitting on mount Olivet, the disciples came to him privately, saying: Tell us when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the consummation of the world? | And as he sat on the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? | Afterwards He was on the Mount of Olives and was seated there when the disciples came to Him, apart from the others, and said, "Tell us when this will be; and what will be the sign of your Coming and of the Close of the Age?" |
| Matthew 24:4 | And Jesus answering, said to them: Take heed that no man seduce you: | And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man lead you astray. | "Take care that no one misleads you," answered Jesus; |
| Matthew 24:5 | For many will come in my name saying, I am Christ: and they will seduce many. | For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and shall lead many astray. | "for many will come assuming my name and saying `I am the Christ;' and they will mislead many. |
| Matthew 24:6 | And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that ye be not troubled. For these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. | And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that ye be not troubled: for [these things] must needs come to pass; but the end is not yet. | And before long you will hear of wars and rumours of wars. Do not be alarmed, for such things must be; but the End is not yet. |

| Matthew 24:8 | Now all these are the beginnings of sorrows. | But all these things are the beginning of travail. | but all these miseries are but like the early pains of childbirth. |

| Matthew 24:13 | But he that shall persevere to the end, he shall be saved. | But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. | but those who stand firm to the End shall be saved. |
| Matthew 24:14 | And this gospel of the kingdom, shall be preached in the whole world, for a testimony to all nations, and then shall the consummation come. | And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come. | And this Good News of the Kingdom shall be proclaimed throughout the whole world to set the evidence before all the Gentiles; and then the End will come. |

| Matthew 24:22 | And unless those days had been shortened, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect those days shall be shortened. | And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. | And if those days had not been cut short, no one would escape; but for the sake of God's own People those days will be cut short. |

| Matthew 24:43 | But know this ye, that if the goodman of the house knew at what hour the thief would come, he would certainly watch, and would not suffer his house to be broken open. | But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken through. | But of this be assured, that if the master of the house had known the hour at which the robber was coming, he would have kept awake, and not have allowed his house to be broken into. |
