Mark 13:1And as he was going out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him: Master, behold what manner of stones and what buildings are here.And as he went forth out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Teacher, behold, what manner of stones and what manner of buildings! And as he is going forth out of the temple, one of his disciples saith to him, `Teacher, see! what stones! and what buildings!`
Mark 13:2And Jesus answering, said to him: Seest thou all these great buildings? There shall not be left a stone upon a stone, that shall not be thrown down.And Jesus said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left here one stone upon another, which shall not be thrown down. and Jesus answering said to him, `Seest thou these great buildings? there may not be left a stone upon a stone, that may not be thrown down.`
Mark 13:3And as he sat on the mount of Olivet over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him apart:And as he sat on the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, And as he is sitting at the mount of the Olives, over-against the temple, Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, were questioning him by himself,
Mark 13:4Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall begin to be fulfilled?Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign when these things are all about to be accomplished? `Tell us when these things shall be? and what [is] the sign when all these may be about to be fulfilled?`
Mark 13:5And Jesus answering, began to say to them, Take heed lest any man deceive you.And Jesus began to say unto them, Take heed that no man lead you astray. And Jesus answering them, began to say, `Take heed lest any one may lead you astray,
Mark 13:6For many shall come in my name, saying, I am he; and they shall deceive many.Many shall come in my name, saying, I am [he]; and shall lead many astray. for many shall come in my name, saying I am [he], and many they shall lead astray;
Mark 13:7And when you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, fear ye not. For such things must needs be, but the end is not yet.And when ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, be not troubled: [these things] must needs come to pass; but the end is not yet. and when ye may hear of wars and reports of wars, be not troubled, for these behove to be, but the end [is] not yet;
Mark 13:8For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and famines. These things are the beginning of sorrows.For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there shall be earthquakes in divers places; there shall be famines: these things are the beginning of travail. for nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles; beginnings of sorrows [are] these.
Mark 13:9But look to yourselves. For they shall deliver you up to councils, and in the synagogues you shall be beaten, and you shall stand before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony unto them.But take ye heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in synagogues shall ye be beaten; and before governors and kings shall ye stand for my sake, for a testimony unto them. `And take ye heed to yourselves, for they shall deliver you up to sanhedrims, and to synagogues, ye shall be beaten, and before governors and kings ye shall be set for my sake, for a testimony to them;
Mark 13:10And unto all nations the gospel must first be preached.And the gospel must first be preached unto all the nations. and to all the nations it behoveth first that the good news be proclaimed.
Mark 13:11And when they shall lead you and deliver you up, be not thoughtful beforehand what you shall speak; but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye. For it is not you that speak, but the Holy Ghost.And when they lead you [to judgment], and deliver you up, be not anxious beforehand what ye shall speak: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye; for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Spirit. `And when they may lead you, delivering up, be not anxious beforehand what ye may speak, nor premeditate, but whatever may be given to you in that hour, that speak ye, for it is not ye who are speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
Mark 13:12And the brother shall betray his brother unto death, and the father his son; and children shall rise up against the parents, and shall work their death.And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and the father his child; and children shall rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death. `And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and father child, and children shall rise up against parents, and shall put them to death,
Mark 13:13And you shall be hated by all men for my name's sake. But he that shall endure unto the end, he shall be saved.And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. and ye shall be hated by all because of my name, but he who hath endured to the end he shall be saved.
Mark 13:14And when you shall see the abomination of desolation, standing where it ought not: he that readeth let him understand: then let them that are in Judea, flee unto the mountains:But when ye see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not (let him that readeth understand), then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains: `And when ye may see the abomination of the desolation, that was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (whoever is reading let him understand), then those in Judea, let them flee to the mountains;
Mark 13:15And let him that is on the housetop, not go down into the house, nor enter therein to take any thing out of the house:and let him that is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out his house: and he upon the house-top, let him not come down to the house, nor come in to take anything out of his house;
Mark 13:16And let him that shall be in the field, not turn back to take up his garment.and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloak. and he who is in the field, let him not turn to the things behind, to take up his garment.
Mark 13:17And woe to them that are with child, and that give suck in those days.But woe unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! `And wo to those with child, and to those giving suck, in those days;
Mark 13:18But pray ye, that these things happen not in winter.And pray ye that it be not in the winter. and pray ye that your flight may not be in winter,
Mark 13:19For in those days shall be such tribulations, as were not from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, neither shall be.For those days shall be tribulation, such as there hath not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never shall be. for those days shall be tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the creation that God created, till now, and may not be;
Mark 13:20And unless the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect which he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.And except the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the elect's sake, whom he chose, he shortened the days. and if the Lord did not shorten the days, no flesh had been saved; but because of the chosen, whom He did choose to Himself, He did shorten the days.
Mark 13:21And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; lo, he is here: do not believe.And then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is the Christ; or, Lo, there; believe [it] not: `And then, if any may say to you, Lo, here [is] the Christ, or, Lo, there, ye may not believe;
Mark 13:22For there will rise up false Christs and false prophets, and they shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce (if it were possible) even the elect.for there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, the elect. for there shall rise false Christs and false prophets, and they shall give signs and wonders, to seduce, if possible, also the chosen;
Mark 13:23Take you heed therefore; behold I have foretold you all things.But take ye heed: behold, I have told you all things beforehand. and ye, take heed; lo, I have foretold you all things.
Mark 13:24But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light.But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, `But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
Mark 13:25And the stars of heaven shall be falling down, and the powers that are in heaven, shall be moved.and the stars shall be falling from heaven, and the powers that are in the heavens shall be shaken. and the stars of the heaven shall be falling, and the powers that are in the heavens shall be shaken.
Mark 13:26And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with great power and glory.And then shall they see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory. `And then they shall see the Son of Man coming in clouds with much power and glory,
Mark 13:27And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.And then shall he send forth the angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. and then he shall send his messengers, and gather together his chosen from the four winds, from the end of the earth unto the end of heaven.
Mark 13:28Now of the fig tree learn ye a parable. When the branch thereof is now tender, and the leaves are come forth, you know that summer is very near.Now from the fig tree learn her parable: when her branch is now become tender, and putteth forth its leaves, ye know that the summer is nigh; `And from the fig-tree learn ye the simile: when the branch may already become tender, and may put forth the leaves, ye know that nigh is the summer;
Mark 13:29So you also when you shall see these things come to pass, know ye that it is very nigh, even at the doors.even so ye also, when ye see these things coming to pass, know ye that he is nigh, [even] at the doors. so ye, also, when these ye may see coming to pass, ye know that it is nigh, at the doors.
Mark 13:30Amen I say to you, that this generation shall not pass, until all these things be done.Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, until all these things be accomplished. Verily I say to you, that this generation may not pass away till all these things may come to pass;
Mark 13:31Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away.Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. the heaven and the earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Mark 13:32But of that day or hour no man knoweth, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father.But of that day or that hour knoweth no one, not even the angels in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. `And concerning that day and the hour no one hath known not even the messengers who are in the heaven, not even the Son except the Father.
Mark 13:33Take ye heed, watch and pray. For ye know not when the time is.Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. Take heed, watch and pray, for ye have not known when the time is;
Mark 13:34Even as a man who going into a far country, left his house; and gave authority to his servants over every work, and commanded the porter to watch.[It is] as [when] a man, sojourning in another country, having left his house, and given authority to his servants, to each one his work, commanded also the porter to watch. as a man who is gone abroad, having left his house, and given to his servants the authority, and to each one his work, did command also the porter that he may watch;
Mark 13:35Watch ye therefor, (for you know not when the lord of the house cometh: at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning,)Watch therefore: for ye know not when the lord of the house cometh, whether at even, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing, or in the morning; watch ye, therefore, for ye have not known when the lord of the house doth come, at even, or at midnight, or at cock-crowing, or at the morning;
Mark 13:36Lest coming on a sudden, he find you sleeping.lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. lest, having come suddenly, he may find you sleeping;
Mark 13:37And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch.And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. and what I say to you, I say to all, Watch.`
