Numbers 15:1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:And the Lord said to Moses,And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Numbers 15:2Speak to the children of Israel and thou shalt say to them: When you shall be come into the land of your habitation, which I will give you,Say to the children of Israel, When you have come into the land which I am giving to you for your resting-place,Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of your dwellings, which I give unto you,
Numbers 15:3And shall make an offering to the Lord, for a holocaust, or a victim, paying your vows, or voluntarily offering gifts, or in your solemnities burning a sweet savour unto the Lord, of oxen or of sheep:And are going to make an offering by fire to the Lord, a burned offering or an offering in connection with an oath, or an offering freely given, or at your regular feasts, an offering for a sweet smell to the Lord, from the herd or the flock:and will make an offering by fire to Jehovah, a burnt-offering or a sacrifice for the performance of a vow, or as a voluntary offering, or in your set feasts, to make a sweet odour to Jehovah, of the herd or of the flock,
Numbers 15:4Whosoever immolateth the victim, shall offer a sacrifice of fine flour, the tenth part of an ephi, tempered with the fourth part of a hin of oil:Then let him who is making his offering, give to the Lord a meal offering of a tenth part of a measure of the best meal mixed with a fourth part of a hin of oil:then shall he that presenteth his offering to Jehovah bring as oblation a tenth part of fine flour mingled with a fourth part of a hin of oil;
Numbers 15:5And he shall give the same measure of wine to pour out in libations for the holocaust or for the victim. For every lamb,And for the drink offering, you are to give with the burned offering or other offering, the fourth part of a hin of wine for every lamb.and of wine for a drink-offering shalt thou offer the fourth part of a hin with the burnt-offering, or with the sacrifice, for one lamb.
Numbers 15:6And for every ram there shall be a sacrifice of hour of two tenths, which shall be tempered with the third part of a hin of oil:Or for a male sheep, give as a meal offering two tenth parts of a measure of the best meal mixed with a third part of a hin of oil:And for a ram thou shalt offer as oblation two tenth parts of fine flour mingled with oil, a third part of a hin,
Numbers 15:7And he shall offer the third part of the same measure of wine for the libation, for a sweet savour to the Lord.And for the drink offering give a third part of a hin of wine, for a sweet smell to the Lord.and of wine for a drink-offering shalt thou offer the third part of a hin; for a sweet odour to Jehovah.
Numbers 15:8But when thou offerest a holocaust or sacrifice of oxen, to fulfil thy vow or for victims of peace offerings,And when you make ready a young ox for a burned or other offering, or for the effecting of an oath, or for peace-offerings to the Lord:And when thou offerest a bullock for a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice for the performance of a vow, or for a peace-offering to Jehovah,
Numbers 15:9Thou shalt give for every ox three tenths of flour tempered with half a hin of oil,Then with the ox give a meal offering of three tenth parts of a measure of the best meal mixed with half a hin of oil.then shall they present with the bullock as oblation three tenth parts of fine flour mingled with half a hin of oil;
Numbers 15:10And wine for libations of the same measure, for an offering of most sweet savour to the Lord.And for the drink offering: give half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire for a sweet smell to the Lord.and of wine shalt thou present half a hin, for a drink-offering, as an offering by fire, of a sweet odour to Jehovah.
Numbers 15:11Thus shalt thou doThis is to be done for every young ox and for every male sheep or he-lamb or young goat.Thus shall it be done for one ox, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or for a kid;
Numbers 15:12For every ox and ram and lamb and kid.Whatever number you make ready, so you are to do for every one.according to the number that ye offer, so shall ye do to every one according to their number.
Numbers 15:13Both they that are born in the land, and the strangersAll those who are Israelites by birth are to do these things in this way, when giving an offering made by fire of a sweet smell to the Lord.And all that are born in the land shall do these things thus, in presenting an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah.
Numbers 15:14Shall offer sacrifices after the same rite.And if a man from another country or any other person living among you, through all your generations, has the desire to give an offering made by fire of a sweet smell to the Lord, let him do as you do.And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whoever be among you throughout your generations, and will offer an offering by fire of a sweet odour to Jehovah, as ye do, so shall he do.
Numbers 15:15There shall be all one law and judgment both for you and for them who are strangers in the land.There is to be one law for you and for the man of another country living with you, one law for ever from generation to generation; as you are, so is he to be before the Lord.As to the congregation, there shall be one statute for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you, an everlasting statute throughout your generations: as ye are, so shall the stranger be, before Jehovah.
Numbers 15:16And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:The law and the rule are to be the same for you and for those from other lands living with you.One law and one ordinance shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.
Numbers 15:17Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them:And the Lord said to Moses,And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Numbers 15:18When you are come into the land which I will give you,Say to the children of Israel, When you come into the land where I am guiding you,Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you,
Numbers 15:19And shall eat of the bread of that country, you shall separate firstfruits to the Lord,Then, when you take for your food the produce of the land, you are to give an offering lifted up before the Lord.then it shall be, when ye eat of the bread of the land, that ye shall offer a heave-offering to Jehovah;
Numbers 15:20Of the things you eat. As you separate firstfruits of your barnfloors:Of the first of your rough meal you are to give a cake for a lifted offering, lifting it up before the Lord as the offering of the grain-floor is lifted up.the first of your dough shall ye offer, a cake, for a heave-offering; as the heave-offering of the threshing-floor, so shall ye offer this.
Numbers 15:21So also shall you give firstfruits of your dough to the Lord.From generation to generation you are to give to the Lord a lifted offering from the first of your rough meal.Of the first of your dough ye shall give to Jehovah a heave-offering throughout your generations.
Numbers 15:22And if through ignorance you omit any of these things, which the Lord hath spoken to Moses,And if in error you go against any of these laws which the Lord has given to Moses,And if ye sin inadvertently, and do not all these commandments, which Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses,
Numbers 15:23And by him hath commanded you, from the day that he began to command and thenceforward,All the laws which the Lord has given you by the hand of Moses, from the day when the Lord gave them, and ever after from generation to generation;all that Jehovah hath commanded you through Moses, from the day that Jehovah gave commandment, and henceforward throughout your generations;
Numbers 15:24And the multitude have forgotten to do it: they shall offer a calf out of the herd, a holocaust for a most sweet savour to the Lord, and the sacrifice and libations thereof, as the ceremonies require, and a buck goat for sin:Then, if the wrong is done in error, without the knowledge of the meeting of the people, let all the meeting give a young ox as a burned offering, a sweet smell to the Lord, with its meal offering and its drink offering, as is ordered in the law, together with a he-goat for a sin-offering.then it shall be, if ought be committed by inadvertence [hid] from the eyes of the assembly, that the whole assembly shall offer one young bullock for a burnt-offering, for a sweet odour to Jehovah, and its oblation and its drink-offering according to the ordinance, and one buck of the goats for a sin-offering.
Numbers 15:25And the priest shall pray for all the multitude of the children of Israel: and it shall be forgiven them, because they sinned ignorantly, offering notwithstanding a burnt offering to the Lord for themselves and for their sin and their ignorance:So the priest will make the people free from sin, and they will have forgiveness; for it was an error, and they have given their offering made by fire to the Lord, and their sin-offering before the Lord, on account of their error:And the priest shall make atonement for the whole assembly of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it was a sin of inadvertence, and they have brought before Jehovah their offering, as an offering by fire to Jehovah, and their sin-offering for their [sin of] inadvertence;
Numbers 15:26And it shall be forgiven all the people of the children of Israel: and the strangers that sojourn among them: because it is the fault of all the people through ignorance.And all the meeting of the children of Israel, as well as those from other lands living among them, will have forgiveness; for it was an error on the part of the people.and it shall be forgiven the whole assembly of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourneth among them; for with all the people there was [a sin of] inadvertence.
Numbers 15:27But if one soul shall sin ignorantly, he shall offer a she goat of a year old for his sin.And if one person does wrong, without being conscious of it, then let him give a she-goat of the first year for a sin-offering.And if one soul sin through inadvertence, then he shall present a yearling she-goat for a sin-offering.
Numbers 15:28And the priest shall pray for him, because he sinned ignorantly before the Lord: and he shall obtain his pardon, and it shall be forgiven him.And the priest will take away the sin of the person who has done wrong, if the wrong was done unconsciously, and he will have forgiveness.And the priest shall make atonement for the soul that hath done inadvertently, when he sinneth by inadvertence before Jehovah, to make atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
Numbers 15:29The same law shall be for all that sin by ignorance, whether they be natives or strangers.The law in connection with wrong done unconsciously is to be the same for him who is an Israelite by birth and for the man from another country who is living among them.For him that is born in the land among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them there shall be one law for you, for him who doeth anything through inadvertence.
Numbers 15:30But the soul that committeth any thing through pride, whether he be born in the land or a stranger (because he hath been rebellious against the Lord) shall be cut off from among his people:But the person who does wrong in the pride of his heart, if he is one of you or of another nation by birth, is acting without respect for the Lord, and will be cut off from his people.But the soul that doeth ought with a high hand, whether born in the land, or a stranger, he reproacheth Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
Numbers 15:31For he hath contemned the word the Lord, and made void his precept: therefore shall he be destroyed, and shall bear his iniquity.Because he had no respect for the word of the Lord, and did not keep his law, that man will be cut off without mercy and his sin will be on him.For he hath despised the word of Jehovah, and hath broken his commandment: that soul shall surely be cut off; his iniquity is upon him.
Numbers 15:32And it came to pass, when the children of Israel were in the wilderness, and had found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day,Now while the children of Israel were in the waste land, they saw a man who was getting sticks on the Sabbath day.And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness they found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day.
Numbers 15:33That they brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole multitude.And those who saw him getting sticks took him before Moses and Aaron and all the people.And they that found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to the whole assembly.
Numbers 15:34And they put him into prison, not knowing what they should do with him.And they had him shut up, because they had no directions about what was to be done with him.And they put him in custody, for it was not declared what should be done to him.
Numbers 15:35And the Lord said to Moses: Let that man die, let all the multitude stone him without the camp.Then the Lord said to Moses, Certainly the man is to be put to death: let him be stoned by all the people outside the tent-circle.And Jehovah said to Moses, The man shall certainly be put to death: the whole assembly shall stone him with stones outside the camp.
Numbers 15:36And when they had brought him out, they stoned him, and he died as the Lord had commanded.So all the people took him outside the tent-circle and he was stoned to death there, as the Lord gave orders to Moses.And the whole assembly led him outside the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
Numbers 15:37The Lord also said to Moses:And the Lord said to Moses,And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
Numbers 15:38Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt tell them I to make to themselves fringes in the corners of their garments, putting in them ribands of blue:Say to the children of Israel that through all their generations they are to put on the edges of their robes an ornament of twisted threads, and in every ornament a blue cord;Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them tassels on the corners of their garments, throughout their generations, and that they attach to the tassel of the corners a lace of blue;
Numbers 15:39That when they shall see them, they may remember all the commandments of the Lord, and not follow their own thoughts and eyes going astray after divers things,So that, looking on these ornaments, you may keep in mind the orders of the Lord and do them; and not be guided by the desires of your hearts and eyes, through which you have been untrue to me:and it shall be unto you for a tassel, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of Jehovah, and do them; and that ye seek not after [the lusts of] your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye go a whoring;
Numbers 15:40But rather being mindful of the precepts of the Lord, may do them and be holy to their Cod.And that you may keep in mind all my orders and do them and be holy to your God.that ye may remember and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
Numbers 15:41I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that I might be your God.I am the Lord your God, who took you out of the land of Egypt, so that I might be your God: I am the Lord your God.I am Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your God: I am Jehovah your God.
