Philippians 4:1Therefore, my dearly beloved brethren, and most desired, my joy and my crown; so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved. So my brothers, well loved and very dear to me, my joy and crown, be strong in the Lord, my loved ones. Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
Philippians 4:2I beg of Evodia, and I beseech Syntyche, to be of one mind in the Lord.I make request to Euodias and Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
Philippians 4:3And I entreat thee also, my sincere companion, help those women who have laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement and the rest of my fellow labourers, whose names are in the book of life. And I make request to you, true helper in my work, to see to the needs of those women who took part with me in the good news, with Clement and the rest of my brother-workers whose names are in the book of life. And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.
Philippians 4:4Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I say, rejoice.Be glad in the Lord at all times: again I say, Be glad.Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Philippians 4:5Let your modesty be known to all men. The Lord is nigh.Let your gentle behaviour be clear to all men. The Lord is near.Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Philippians 4:6Be nothing solicitous; but in every thing, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God.Have no cares; but in everything with prayer and praise put your requests before God.Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:7And the peace of God, which surpasseth all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. And the peace of God, which is deeper than all knowledge, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:8For the rest, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever modest, whatsoever just, whatsoever holy, whatsoever lovely, whatsoever of good fame, if there be any virtue, if any praise of discipline, think on these things. For the rest, my brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things have honour, whatever things are upright, whatever things are holy, whatever things are beautiful, whatever things are of value, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, give thought to these things. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:9The things which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, these do ye, and the God of peace shall be with you.The things which came to you by my teaching and preaching, and which you saw in me, these things do, and the God of peace will be with you. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Philippians 4:10Now I rejoice in the Lord exceedingly, that now at length your thought for me hath flourished again, as you did also think; but you were busied. But I am very glad in the Lord that your care for me has come to life again; though you did in fact take thought for me, but you were not able to give effect to it.But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
Philippians 4:11I speak not as it were for want. For I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, to be content therewith. But I will not say anything about my needs, for I am able, wherever I am, to be dependent on myself. Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
Philippians 4:12I know both how to be brought low, and I know how to abound: (everywhere, and in all things I am instructed) both to be full, and to be hungry; both to abound, and to suffer need.It is the same to me if I am looked down on or honoured; everywhere and in all things I have the secret of how to be full and how to go without food; how to have wealth and how to be in need.I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
Philippians 4:13I can do all these things in him who strengtheneth me.I am able to do all things through him who gives me strength.I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:14Nevertheless you have done well in communicating to my tribulation. But you did well to have care for me in my need.Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
Philippians 4:15And you also know, O Philippians, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but you only:And you have knowledge, Philippians, that when the good news first came to you, when I went away from Macedonia, no church took part with me in the business of giving to the saints, but you only; Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
Philippians 4:16For unto Thessalonica also you sent once and again for my use.Because even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to me in my need. For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
Philippians 4:17Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that may abound to your account. Not that I am looking for an offering, but for fruit which may be put to your credit. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
Philippians 4:18But I have all, and abound: I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things you sent, an odour of sweetness, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God.I have all things and more than enough: I am made full, having had from Epaphroditus the things which came from you, a perfume of a sweet smell, an offering well pleasing to God.But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
Philippians 4:19And may my God supply all your want, according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. And my God will give you all you have need of from the wealth of his glory in Christ Jesus. But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:20Now to God and our Father be glory world without end. Amen. Now to God our Father be glory for ever and ever. So be it.Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Philippians 4:21Salute ye every saint in Christ Jesus.Give words of love to every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me send you their love.Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
Philippians 4:22The brethren who are with me, salute you. All the saints salute you; especially they that are of Caesar's household. All the saints send their love to you, specially those who are of Caesar's house. All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.
Philippians 4:23The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
