Matthew 28:1 | And in the end of the sabbath, when it began to dawn towards the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalen and the other Mary, to see the sepulchre. | Now late on the Sabbath, when the dawn of the first day of the week was near, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the place where his body was. | After the Sabbath, in the early dawn of the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala and the other Mary came to see the sepulchre. |
Matthew 28:2 | And behold there was a great earthquake. For an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and coming, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it. | And there was a great earth-shock; for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, rolling back the stone, took his seat on it. | But to their amazement there had been a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord had descended from Heaven, and had come and rolled back the stone, and was sitting upon it. |

I know that it is Jesus that you are looking for the crucified One. |
Matthew 28:6 | He is not here, for he is risen, as he said. Come, and see the place where the Lord was laid. | He is not here, for he has come to life again, even as he said. Come, see the Lord's resting-place. | He is not here: He has come back to life, as He foretold. Come and see the place where He lay. |
Matthew 28:7 | And going quickly, tell ye his disciples that he is risen: and behold he will go before you into Galilee; there you shall see him. Lo, I have foretold it to you. | And go quickly and give his disciples the news that he has come back from the dead, and is going before you into Galilee; there you will see him, as I have said to you. | And go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead and is going before you into Galilee: there you shall see Him. Matthew 28:8 | And they went out quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy, running to tell his disciples. | And they went away quickly, with fear and great joy, to give his disciples the news. | They quickly left the tomb and ran, still terrified but full of unspeakable joy, to carry the news to His disciples. |
Matthew 28:9 | And behold Jesus met them, saying: All hail. But they came up and took hold of his feet, and adored him. | And on the way, Jesus came to them, saying, Be glad. Go, tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, there they shall see me. | Then said Jesus to them, Have no fear: go and give word to my brothers to go into Galilee, and there they will see me. | Then He said, "Dismiss all fear! Go and take word to my brethren to go into Galilee, and there they shall see me." |
Matthew 28:11 | Who when they were departed, behold some of the guards came into the city, and told the chief priests all things that had been done. | Now, while they were going, some of the watchmen came into the town and gave news to the chief priests of all the things which had taken place. | While they went on this errand, some of the guards came into the city and reported to the High Priests every detail of what had happened. |
Matthew 28:12 | And they being assembled together with the ancients, taking counsel, gave a great sum of money to the soldiers, | And when they had come together with those in authority, and had made their decision, they gave much money to the watchmen, saying, | So the latter held a conference with the Elders, and after consultation with them they heavily bribed the soldiers, |

Matthew 28:14 | And if the governor shall hear this, we will persuade him, and secure you. | And if this comes to the ruler's ears, we will see that he does not make you responsible. | "And if this," they added, "is reported to the Governor, we will satisfy him and screen you from punishment." |
Matthew 28:15 | So they taking the money, did as they were taught: and this word was spread abroad among the Jews even unto this day. | So they took the money, and did as they had been ordered: and this account has been current among the Jews till the present time. | So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this story was noised about among the Jews, and is current to this day. |

Matthew 28:20 | Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world. | Teaching them to keep all the rules which I have given you: and see, I am ever with you, even to the end of the world. | and teach them to obey every command which I have given you.
