| Genesis 7:1 | And the Lord said to him: Go in thou and all thy house into the ark: for thee I have seen just before me in this generation. | And the Lord said to Noah, Take all your family and go into the ark, for you only in this generation have I seen to be upright. | Yahweh said to Noah, "Come with all of your household into the ark, for I have seen your righteousness before me in this generation. |
| Genesis 7:2 | Of all clean beasts take seven and seven, the male and female. | Of every clean beast you will take seven males and seven females, and of the beasts which are not clean, two, the male and his female; | You shall take seven pairs of every clean animal with you, the male and his female. Of the animals that are not clean, take two, the male and his female. |
