| Hebrews 1:1 | God, who, at sundry times and in divers manners, spoke in times past to the fathers by the prophets, last of all, | In times past the word of God came to our fathers through the prophets, in different parts and in different ways; | God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, |

| Hebrews 1:14 | Are they not all ministering spirits, sent to minister for them, who shall receive the inheritance of salvation? | Are they not all helping spirits, who are sent out as servants to those whose heritage will be salvation? | Aren't they all ministering spirits, sent forth to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation? |
