Romans 3:1 | What advantage then hath the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision? | How then is the Jew better off? or what profit is there in circumcision? | Then what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the profit of circumcision? |
Romans 3:2 | Much every way. First indeed, because the words of God were committed to them. | Much in every way: first of all because the words of God were given to them. | Much in every way! Because first of all, that they were entrusted with the oracles of God. |
Romans 3:3 | For what if some of them have not believed? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? Romans 3:5 | But if our injustice commend the justice of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust, who executeth wrath? | But if the righteousness of God is supported by our wrongdoing what is to be said? is it wrong for God to be angry (as men may say)? | But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what will we say? Is God unrighteous who inflicts wrath? I speak like men do. |
Romans 3:6 | (I speak according to man.) God forbid: otherwise how shall God judge this world? | In no way: because if it is so, how is God able to be the judge of all the world? | Certainly not! For then how will God judge the world? |
