Numbers 15:1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:And the Lord said to Moses,And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
Numbers 15:2Speak to the children of Israel and thou shalt say to them: When you shall be come into the land of your habitation, which I will give you,Say to the children of Israel, When you have come into the land which I am giving to you for your resting-place,`Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When ye come in unto the land of your dwellings, which I am giving to you,
Numbers 15:3And shall make an offering to the Lord, for a holocaust, or a victim, paying your vows, or voluntarily offering gifts, or in your solemnities burning a sweet savour unto the Lord, of oxen or of sheep:And are going to make an offering by fire to the Lord, a burned offering or an offering in connection with an oath, or an offering freely given, or at your regular feasts, an offering for a sweet smell to the Lord, from the herd or the flock:then ye have prepared a fire-offering to Jehovah, a burnt-offering, or a sacrifice, at separating a vow or free-will-offering, or in your appointed things, to make a sweet fragrance to Jehovah, out of the herd, or out of the flock.
Numbers 15:4Whosoever immolateth the victim, shall offer a sacrifice of fine flour, the tenth part of an ephi, tempered with the fourth part of a hin of oil:Then let him who is making his offering, give to the Lord a meal offering of a tenth part of a measure of the best meal mixed with a fourth part of a hin of oil:`And he who is bringing near his offering to Jehovah hath brought near a present of flour, a tenth deal, mixed with a fourth of the hin of oil;
Numbers 15:5And he shall give the same measure of wine to pour out in libations for the holocaust or for the victim. For every lamb,And for the drink offering, you are to give with the burned offering or other offering, the fourth part of a hin of wine for every lamb.and wine for a libation, a fourth of the hin thou dost prepare for the burnt-offering or for a sacrifice, for the one lamb;
Numbers 15:6And for every ram there shall be a sacrifice of hour of two tenths, which shall be tempered with the third part of a hin of oil:Or for a male sheep, give as a meal offering two tenth parts of a measure of the best meal mixed with a third part of a hin of oil:or for a ram thou dost prepare a present of flour, two-tenth deals, mixed with oil, a third of the hin;
Numbers 15:7And he shall offer the third part of the same measure of wine for the libation, for a sweet savour to the Lord.And for the drink offering give a third part of a hin of wine, for a sweet smell to the Lord.and wine for a libation, a third part of the hin, thou dost bring near a sweet fragrance to Jehovah.
Numbers 15:8But when thou offerest a holocaust or sacrifice of oxen, to fulfil thy vow or for victims of peace offerings,And when you make ready a young ox for a burned or other offering, or for the effecting of an oath, or for peace-offerings to the Lord:`And when thou makest a son of the herd a burnt-offering or a sacrifice, at separating a vow or peace-offerings to Jehovah,
Numbers 15:9Thou shalt give for every ox three tenths of flour tempered with half a hin of oil,Then with the ox give a meal offering of three tenth parts of a measure of the best meal mixed with half a hin of oil.then he hath brought near for the son of the herd a present of flour, three-tenth deals, mixed with oil, a half of the hin;
Numbers 15:10And wine for libations of the same measure, for an offering of most sweet savour to the Lord.And for the drink offering: give half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire for a sweet smell to the Lord.and wine thou bringest near for a libation, a half of the hin a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah;
Numbers 15:11Thus shalt thou doThis is to be done for every young ox and for every male sheep or he-lamb or young goat.thus it is done for the one ox, or for the one ram, or for a lamb of the sheep or of the goats.
Numbers 15:12For every ox and ram and lamb and kid.Whatever number you make ready, so you are to do for every one.`According to the number that ye prepare, so ye do to each, according to their number;
Numbers 15:13Both they that are born in the land, and the strangersAll those who are Israelites by birth are to do these things in this way, when giving an offering made by fire of a sweet smell to the Lord.every native doth thus with these, at bringing near a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah;
Numbers 15:14Shall offer sacrifices after the same rite.And if a man from another country or any other person living among you, through all your generations, has the desire to give an offering made by fire of a sweet smell to the Lord, let him do as you do.and when a sojourner sojourneth with you, or whoso [is] in your midst to your generations, and he hath made a fire-offering of sweet fragrance to Jehovah, as ye do so he doth.
Numbers 15:15There shall be all one law and judgment both for you and for them who are strangers in the land.There is to be one law for you and for the man of another country living with you, one law for ever from generation to generation; as you are, so is he to be before the Lord.`One statute is for you of the congregation and for the sojourner who is sojourning, a statute age-during to your generations: as ye [are] so is the sojourner before Jehovah;
Numbers 15:16And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:The law and the rule are to be the same for you and for those from other lands living with you.one law and one ordinance is to you and to the sojourner who is sojourning with you.`
Numbers 15:17Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them:And the Lord said to Moses,And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
Numbers 15:18When you are come into the land which I will give you,Say to the children of Israel, When you come into the land where I am guiding you,`Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, In your coming in unto the land whither I am bringing you in,
Numbers 15:19And shall eat of the bread of that country, you shall separate firstfruits to the Lord,Then, when you take for your food the produce of the land, you are to give an offering lifted up before the Lord.then it hath been, in your eating of the bread of the land, ye heave up a heave-offering to Jehovah;
Numbers 15:20Of the things you eat. As you separate firstfruits of your barnfloors:Of the first of your rough meal you are to give a cake for a lifted offering, lifting it up before the Lord as the offering of the grain-floor is lifted up.the beginning of your dough a cake ye heave up a heave-offering; as the heave-offering of a threshing-floor, so ye do heave it.
Numbers 15:21So also shall you give firstfruits of your dough to the Lord.From generation to generation you are to give to the Lord a lifted offering from the first of your rough meal.Of the beginning of your dough ye do give to Jehovah a heave-offering to your generations.
Numbers 15:22And if through ignorance you omit any of these things, which the Lord hath spoken to Moses,And if in error you go against any of these laws which the Lord has given to Moses,`And when ye err, and do not all these commands which Jehovah hath spoken unto Moses,
Numbers 15:23And by him hath commanded you, from the day that he began to command and thenceforward,All the laws which the Lord has given you by the hand of Moses, from the day when the Lord gave them, and ever after from generation to generation;the whole that Jehovah hath charged upon you by the hand of Moses, from the day that Jehovah hath commanded, and henceforth, to your generations,
Numbers 15:24And the multitude have forgotten to do it: they shall offer a calf out of the herd, a holocaust for a most sweet savour to the Lord, and the sacrifice and libations thereof, as the ceremonies require, and a buck goat for sin:Then, if the wrong is done in error, without the knowledge of the meeting of the people, let all the meeting give a young ox as a burned offering, a sweet smell to the Lord, with its meal offering and its drink offering, as is ordered in the law, together with a he-goat for a sin-offering.then it hath been, if from the eyes of the company it hath been done in ignorance, that all the company have prepared one bullock, a son of the herd, for a burnt-offering, for sweet fragrance to Jehovah, and its present, and its libation, according to the ordinance, and one kid of the goats for a sin-offering.
Numbers 15:25And the priest shall pray for all the multitude of the children of Israel: and it shall be forgiven them, because they sinned ignorantly, offering notwithstanding a burnt offering to the Lord for themselves and for their sin and their ignorance:So the priest will make the people free from sin, and they will have forgiveness; for it was an error, and they have given their offering made by fire to the Lord, and their sin-offering before the Lord, on account of their error:`And the priest hath made atonement for all the company of the sons of Israel, and it hath been forgiven them, for it [is] ignorance, and they they have brought in their offering, a fire-offering to Jehovah, even their sin-offering before Jehovah for their ignorance;
Numbers 15:26And it shall be forgiven all the people of the children of Israel: and the strangers that sojourn among them: because it is the fault of all the people through ignorance.And all the meeting of the children of Israel, as well as those from other lands living among them, will have forgiveness; for it was an error on the part of the people.and it hath been forgiven to all the company of the sons of Israel, and to the sojourner who is sojourning in their midst; for to all the company [it is done] in ignorance.
Numbers 15:27But if one soul shall sin ignorantly, he shall offer a she goat of a year old for his sin.And if one person does wrong, without being conscious of it, then let him give a she-goat of the first year for a sin-offering.`And if one person sin in ignorance, then he hath brought near a she-goat, daughter of a year, for a sin-offering;
Numbers 15:28And the priest shall pray for him, because he sinned ignorantly before the Lord: and he shall obtain his pardon, and it shall be forgiven him.And the priest will take away the sin of the person who has done wrong, if the wrong was done unconsciously, and he will have forgiveness.and the priest hath made atonement for the person who is erring, in his sinning in ignorance before Jehovah, by making atonement for him, and it hath been forgiven him;
Numbers 15:29The same law shall be for all that sin by ignorance, whether they be natives or strangers.The law in connection with wrong done unconsciously is to be the same for him who is an Israelite by birth and for the man from another country who is living among them.for the native among the sons of Israel, and for the sojourner who is sojourning in their midst one law is to you, for him who is doing [anything] through ignorance.
Numbers 15:30But the soul that committeth any thing through pride, whether he be born in the land or a stranger (because he hath been rebellious against the Lord) shall be cut off from among his people:But the person who does wrong in the pride of his heart, if he is one of you or of another nation by birth, is acting without respect for the Lord, and will be cut off from his people.`And the person who doth [aught] with a high hand of the native or of the sojourner Jehovah he is reviling, and that person hath been cut off from the midst of his people;
Numbers 15:31For he hath contemned the word the Lord, and made void his precept: therefore shall he be destroyed, and shall bear his iniquity.Because he had no respect for the word of the Lord, and did not keep his law, that man will be cut off without mercy and his sin will be on him.because the word of Jehovah he despised, and His command hath broken that person is certainly cut off; his iniquity [is] on him.`
Numbers 15:32And it came to pass, when the children of Israel were in the wilderness, and had found a man gathering sticks on the sabbath day,Now while the children of Israel were in the waste land, they saw a man who was getting sticks on the Sabbath day.And the sons of Israel are in the wilderness, and they find a man gathering wood on the sabbath-day,
Numbers 15:33That they brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole multitude.And those who saw him getting sticks took him before Moses and Aaron and all the people.and those finding him gathering wood bring him near unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto all the company,
Numbers 15:34And they put him into prison, not knowing what they should do with him.And they had him shut up, because they had no directions about what was to be done with him.and they place him in ward, for it [is] not explained what is [to be] done to him.
Numbers 15:35And the Lord said to Moses: Let that man die, let all the multitude stone him without the camp.Then the Lord said to Moses, Certainly the man is to be put to death: let him be stoned by all the people outside the tent-circle.And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `The man is certainly put to death, all the company stoning him with stones, at the outside of the camp.`
Numbers 15:36And when they had brought him out, they stoned him, and he died as the Lord had commanded.So all the people took him outside the tent-circle and he was stoned to death there, as the Lord gave orders to Moses.And all the company bring him out unto the outside of the camp, and stone him with stones, and he dieth, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.
Numbers 15:37The Lord also said to Moses:And the Lord said to Moses,And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,
Numbers 15:38Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt tell them I to make to themselves fringes in the corners of their garments, putting in them ribands of blue:Say to the children of Israel that through all their generations they are to put on the edges of their robes an ornament of twisted threads, and in every ornament a blue cord;`Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, and they have made for themselves fringes on the skirts of their garments, to their generations, and they have put on the fringe of the skirt a ribbon of blue,
Numbers 15:39That when they shall see them, they may remember all the commandments of the Lord, and not follow their own thoughts and eyes going astray after divers things,So that, looking on these ornaments, you may keep in mind the orders of the Lord and do them; and not be guided by the desires of your hearts and eyes, through which you have been untrue to me:and it hath been to you for a fringe, and ye have seen it, and have remembered all the commands of Jehovah, and have done them, and ye search not after your heart, and after your eyes, after which ye are going a-whoring;
Numbers 15:40But rather being mindful of the precepts of the Lord, may do them and be holy to their Cod.And that you may keep in mind all my orders and do them and be holy to your God.so that ye remember and have done all My commands, and ye have been holy to your God;
Numbers 15:41I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that I might be your God.I am the Lord your God, who took you out of the land of Egypt, so that I might be your God: I am the Lord your God.I [am] Jehovah your God, who hath brought you out from the land of Egypt to become your God; I, Jehovah, [am] your God.`
