| Numbers 26:1 | After the blood of the guilty was shed, the Lord said to Moses and to Eleazar the son of Aaron, the priest: | Now after the disease was over, the Lord said to Moses and Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, | And it cometh to pass, after the plague, that Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, and unto Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, saying, |
| Numbers 26:2 | Number the whole sum of the children of Israel from twenty years old and upward, by their houses and kindreds, all that are able to go forth to war. | Let all the children of Israel be numbered, by the names of their fathers' families, all those of twenty years old and over who are able to go to war in Israel. | `Take up the sum of all the company of the sons of Israel, from a son of twenty years and upward, by the house of their fathers, every one going out to the host in Israel.` |
| Numbers 26:3 | Moses therefore and Eleazar the priest, being in the plains of Moab upon the Jordan over against Jericho, spoke to them that were | So Moses and Eleazar the priest gave them the order in the lowlands of Moab by Jordan at Jericho, saying, | And Moses speaketh Eleazar the priest also with them, in the plains of Moab, by Jordan, [near] Jericho, saying, |
| Numbers 26:4 | From twenty years old and upward, as the Lord had commanded: and this is the number of them: | Let all the people of twenty years old and over be numbered, as the Lord has given orders to Moses and the children of Israel who have come out of Egypt. | `From a son of twenty years and upward,` as Jehovah hath commanded Moses and the sons of Israel who are coming out from the land of Egypt. |

| Numbers 26:9 | His sons, were Namuel and Dathan and Abiron. These are Dathan and Abiron the princes of the people, that rose against Moses and Aaron in the sedition of Core, when they rebelled against the Lord: | And the sons of Eliab: Nemuel and Dathan and Abiram. These are the same Dathan and Abiram who had a place in the meeting of the people, who together with Korah made an outcry against Moses and Aaron and against the Lord: | and the sons of Eliab [are] Nemuel and Dathan and Abiram; this [is that] Dathan and Abiram, called ones of the company, who have striven against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, in their striving against Jehovah, |
| Numbers 26:10 | And the earth opening her mouth swallowed up Core, many others dying, when the fire burned two hundred and fifty men. And there was a great miracle wrought, | And they went down into the open mouth of the earth, together with Korah, when death overtook him and all his band; at the time when two hundred and fifty men were burned in the fire, and they became a sign. | and the earth openeth her mouth, and swalloweth them and Korah, in the death of the company, in the fire consuming the two hundred and fifty men, and they become a sign; |

| Numbers 26:54 | To the greater number thou shalt give a greater portion, and to the fewer a less: to every one, as they have now been reckoned up, shall a possession be delivered : | To those families who are more in number, give a greater heritage; to those who are less in number, a smaller part: to every one let the heritage be given in relation to the number in his family. | to the many thou dost increase their inheritance, and to the few thou dost diminish their inheritance; [to] each according to his numbered ones is given his inheritance. |
| Numbers 26:55 | Yet so that by lot the land be divided to the tribe and families. | But let the distribution of the land be made by the decision of the Lord: by the names of the tribes of their fathers let their heritage be given them. | `Only by lot is the land apportioned, by the names of the tribes of their fathers they inherit; |
