| Matthew 25:1 | Then shall the kingdom of heaven be like to ten virgins, who taking their lamps went out to meet the bridegroom and the bride. | Then shall the kingdom of the heavens be made like to ten virgins that having taken their torches, went forth to meet the bridegroom. | Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. |
| Matthew 25:2 | And five of them were foolish, and five wise. | And five of them were prudent and five foolish. | And five of them were foolish, and five were wise. |
| Matthew 25:3 | But the five foolish, having taken their lamps, did not take oil with them: | They that were foolish took their torches and did not take oil with them; | For the foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them: |

Go rather to those that sell, and buy for yourselves. | But the wise answered, saying, Peradventure there will not be enough for us and you: go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. |
