| Romans 13:1 | Let every soul be subject to higher powers: for there is no power but from God: and those that are, are ordained of God. | Let every soul be subject to the authorities that are above [him]. For there is no authority except from God; and those that exist are set up by God. | Let every soul be in subjection to the higher powers: for there is no power but of God; and the [powers] that be are ordained of God. |
