Exodus 25:1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,And the Lord said to Moses,
Exodus 25:2Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring firstfruits to me: of every man that offereth of his own accord, you shall take them.Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me a heave-offering: of every one whose heart prompteth him, ye shall take my heave-offering.Say to the children of Israel that they are to make me an offering; from every man who has the impulse in his heart take an offering for me.
Exodus 25:3And these are the things you must take: gold, and silver, and brass,And this is the heave-offering that ye shall take of them: gold, and silver, and copper,And this is the offering you are to take from them: gold and silver and brass;
Exodus 25:4Violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen, and goats' hair,and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and byssus, and goats' [hair],And blue and purple and red, and the best linen, and goats' hair;
Exodus 25:5And rams' skins dyed red, and violet skins, and setim wood:and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins; and acacia-wood;And sheepskins coloured red, and leather, and hard wood;
Exodus 25:6Oil to make lights: spices for ointment, and for sweetsmelling incense:oil for the light; spices for the anointing oil, and for the incense of fragrant drugs;Oil for the light, spices for the sweet-smelling oil, sweet perfumes for burning;
Exodus 25:7Onyx stones, and precious stones to adorn the ephod and the rational.onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.Beryls and stones of value to be put on the ephod and on the priest's bag.
Exodus 25:8And they shall make me a sanctuary, and I will dwell in the midst of them:And they shall make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them.And let them make me a holy place, so that I may be ever present among them.
Exodus 25:9According to all the likeness of the tabernacle which I will shew thee, and of all the vessels for the service thereof: and thus you shall make it:According to all that I shall shew thee, the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the utensils thereof, even so shall ye make [it].Make the House and everything in it from the designs which I will give you.
Exodus 25:10Frame an ark of setim wood, the length whereof shall be of two cubits and a half: the breadth, a cubit and a half: the height, likewise, a cubit and a half.And they shall make an ark of acacia-wood; two cubits and a half the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.And they are to make an ark of hard wood; two and a half cubits long, and a cubit and a half wide and high.
Exodus 25:11And thou shalt overlay it with the purest gold within and without: and over it thou shalt make a golden crown round about:And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold: inside and outside shalt thou overlay it; and shalt make upon it a border of gold round about.It is to be plated inside and out with the best gold, with an edge of gold all round it
Exodus 25:12And four golden rings, which thou shall put at the four corners of the ark: let two rings be on the one side, and two on the other.And cast four rings of gold for it, and put [them] at the four corners thereof, that two rings may be upon the one side thereof and two rings upon the other side thereof.And make four rings of gold for it, to be fixed on its four feet, two rings on one side of it and two on the other.
Exodus 25:13Thou shalt make bars also of setim wood, and shalt overlay them with gold.And make staves of acacia-wood and overlay them with gold.And make rods of the same wood, plating them with gold.
Exodus 25:14And thou shalt put them in through the rings that are in the sides of the ark, that it may be carried on them.And put the staves into the rings upon the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.And put the rods through the rings at the sides of the ark, for lifting it.
Exodus 25:15And they shall be always in the rings, neither shall they at any time be drawn out of them.The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not come out from it.The rods are to be kept in the rings, and never taken out.
Exodus 25:16And thou shalt put in the ark the testimony which I will give thee.And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony that I shall give thee.Inside the ark you are to put the record which I will give you.
Exodus 25:17Thou shalt make also a propitiatory of the purest gold: the length thereof shall be two cubits and a half, and the breadth a cubit and a half.And thou shalt make a mercy-seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.And you are to make a cover of the best gold, two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.
Exodus 25:18Thou shalt make also two cherubims of beaten gold, on the two sides of the oracle.And thou shalt make two cherubim of gold; [of] beaten work shalt thou make them, at the two ends of the mercy-seat.And at the two ends of the cover you are to make two winged ones of hammered gold,
Exodus 25:19Let one cherub be on the one side, and the other on the other.And make one cherub at the end of the one side, and one cherub at the end of the other side; out of the mercy-seat shall ye make the cherubim at the two ends thereof.One at one end and one at the other; the winged ones are to be part of the cover.
Exodus 25:20Let them cover both sides of the propitiatory, spreading their wings, and covering the oracle, and let them look one towards the other, their faces being turned towards the propitiatory wherewith the ark is to be covered.And the cherubim shall stretch out [their] wings over it, covering over with their wings the mercy-seat, and their faces opposite to one another: toward the mercy-seat shall the faces of the cherubim be [turned].And their wings are to be outstretched over the cover, and the winged ones are to be opposite one another, facing the cover.
Exodus 25:21In which thou shalt put the testimony that I will give thee.And thou shalt put the mercy-seat above on the ark, and shalt put in the ark the testimony that I shall give thee.And put the cover over the ark, and in the ark the record which I will give you.
Exodus 25:22Thence will I give orders, and will speak to thee over the propitiatory, and from the midst of the two cherubims, which shall be upon the ark of the testimony, all things which I will command the children of Israel by thee.And there will I meet with thee, and will speak with thee from above the mercy-seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, everything that I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.And there, between the two winged ones on the cover of the ark, I will come to you, face to face, and make clear to you all the orders I have to give you for the children of Israel.
Exodus 25:23Thou shalt make a table also of setim wood, of two cubits in length, and a cubit in breadth, and a cubit and half in height.And thou shalt make a table of acacia-wood, two cubits the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.And you are to make a table of the same wood, two cubits long, a cubit wide and a cubit and a half high,
Exodus 25:24And thou shalt overlay it with the purest gold: and thou shalt make to it a golden ledge round about.And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make upon it a border of gold round about.Plated with the best gold, with a gold edge all round it;
Exodus 25:25And to the ledge itself a polished crown, four inches high: and over the same another little golden crown.And thou shalt make for it a margin of a handbreadth round about, and shalt make a border of gold for the margin thereof round about.And make a frame all round it, as wide as a man's hand, with a gold edge to the frame.
Exodus 25:26Thou shalt prepare also four golden rings, and shalt put them in the four corners of the same table over each foot.And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings at the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.And make four gold rings and put them at the four angles, on the four feet of the table;
Exodus 25:27Under the crown shall the golden rings be, that the bars may be put through them, and the table may be carried.Close to the margin shall the rings be, as receptacles of the staves to carry the table.The rings are to be fixed under the frame to take the rods with which the table is to be lifted.
Exodus 25:28The bars also themselves thou shalt make of setim wood, and shalt overlay them with gold to bear up the table.And thou shalt make the staves of acacia-wood, and overlay them with gold; and the table shall be carried upon them.Make rods of the same wood, plated with gold, for lifting the table.
Exodus 25:29Thou shalt prepare also dishes, and bowls, censers, and cups, wherein the libations are to be offered of the purest gold.And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and cups thereof, and goblets thereof, and bowls thereof, with which to pour out: of pure gold shalt thou make them.And make the table-vessels, the spoons and the cups and the basins for liquids, all of the best gold.
Exodus 25:30And thou shalt set upon the table loaves of proposition in my sight always.And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me continually.And on the table at all times you are to keep my holy bread.
Exodus 25:31Thou shalt make also a candlestick of beaten work of the finest gold, the shaft thereof, and the branches, the cups, and the bowls, and the lilies going forth from it.And thou shalt make a lamp-stand of pure gold; [of] beaten work shall the lamp-stand be made: its base and its shaft, its cups, its knobs, and its flowers shall be of the same.And you are to make a support for lights, of the best gold; its base and its pillar are to be of hammered gold; its cups, its buds, and its flowers are to be made of the same metal.
Exodus 25:32Six branches shall come out of the sides, three out of the one side, and three out of the other.And six branches shall come out of the sides thereof three branches of the lamp-stand out of one side thereof, and three branches of the lamp-stand out of the other side thereof;It is to have six branches coming out from its sides; three branches from one side and three from the other.
Exodus 25:33Three cups as it were nuts to every branch, and a bowl withal, and a lily; and three cups, likewise of the fashion of nuts in the other branch, and a bowl withal, and a lily. Such shall be the work of the six branches, that are to come out from the shaft:three cups shaped like almonds in the one branch, a knob and a flower: and three cups shaped like almonds in the other branch, a knob and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the lamp-stand.Every branch having three cups made like almond flowers, every cup with a bud and a flower, on all the branches.
Exodus 25:34And in the candlestick itself shall be four cups in the manner of a nut, and at every one, bowls and lilies.And in the lamp-stand four cups shaped like almonds, its knobs and its flowers;And on the pillar, four cups like almond flowers, every one with its bud and its flower:
Exodus 25:35Bowls under two branches in three places, which together make six coming forth out of one shaft.and a knob under two branches of it, and [again] a knob under two branches of it, and [again] a knob under two branches of it, for the six branches that proceed out of the lamp-stand.And under every two branches a bud, made with the branch, for all the six branches of it.
Exodus 25:36And both the bowls and the branches shall be of the same beaten work of the purest gold.Their knobs and their branches shall be of itself all of one beaten work of pure gold.The buds and the branches are to be made of the same metal; all together one complete work of hammered gold.
Exodus 25:37Thou shalt make also seven lamps, and shalt set them upon the candlestick, to give light over against.And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof, and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may shine out before it;Then you are to make its seven vessels for the lights, putting them in their place so that they give light in front of it.
Exodus 25:38The snuffers also and where the snuffings shall be put out, shall be made of the purest gold.and the snuffers thereof, and the snuff-trays thereof, of pure gold.And the instruments and trays for use with it are all to be of the best gold.
Exodus 25:39The whole weight of the candlestick with all the furniture thereof shall be a talent of the purest gold.Of a talent of pure gold shall they make it, with all these utensils.A talent of gold will be needed for it, with all these vessels.
Exodus 25:40Look and make it according to the pattern, that was shewn thee in the mount.And see that thou make [them] according to their pattern, which hath been shewn to thee in the mountain.And see that you make them from the design which you saw on the mountain.
