| Matthew 25:1 | Then shall the kingdom of heaven be like to ten virgins, who taking their lamps went out to meet the bridegroom and the bride. | Then shall the kingdom of the heavens be made like to ten virgins that having taken their torches, went forth to meet the bridegroom. | Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. |
| Matthew 25:2 | And five of them were foolish, and five wise. | And five of them were prudent and five foolish. | And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. |
| Matthew 25:3 | But the five foolish, having taken their lamps, did not take oil with them: | They that were foolish took their torches and did not take oil with them; | They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: |

Go rather to those that sell, and buy for yourselves. | But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. |
| Matthew 25:10 | Now whilst they went to buy, the bridegroom came: and they that were ready, went in with him to the marriage, and the door was shut. | But as they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and the [ones that were] ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut. | And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. |
