| Jonah 2:1 | Now the Lord prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonas: and Jonas was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. | And Jonah prayed unto Jehovah his God out of the fish's belly; | Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, |
| Jonah 2:2 | And Jonas prayed to the Lord his God out of the belly of the fish. | and he said: I cried by reason of my distress unto Jehovah, and he answered me; Out of the belly of Sheol cried I: thou heardest my voice. | And said, I cried by reason of my affliction to the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardst my voice. |
| Jonah 2:3 | And he said: I cried out of my affliction to the Lord, and he heard me: I cried out of the belly of hell, and thou hast heard my voice. | For thou didst cast me into the depth, into the heart of the seas, And the flood was round about me: All thy breakers and thy billows are gone over me. | For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods encompassed me: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me. |
