| 1st-Corinthians 2:1 | And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not in loftiness of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of Christ. | And *I*, when I came to you, brethren, came not in excellency of word, or wisdom, announcing to you the testimony of God. | And as for myself, brethren, when I came to you, it was not with surpassing power of eloquence or earthly wisdom that I came, announcing to you that which God had commanded me to bear witness to. |
| 1st-Corinthians 2:2 | For I judged not myself to know anything among you, but Jesus Christ, and him crucified. | For I did not judge [it well] to know anything among you save Jesus Christ, and *him* crucified. | For I determined to be utterly ignorant, when among you, of everything except of Jesus Christ, and of Him as having been crucified. |
