Genesis 8:1And God remembered Noe, and all the living creatures, and all the cattle which were with him in the ark, and brought a wind upon the earth, and the waters were abated. And God remembered Noah, and all the animals, and all the cattle that were with him in the ark; and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.God remembered Noah, all the animals, and all the cattle that were with him in the ark; and God made a wind to pass over the earth. The waters subsided.
Genesis 8:2The fountains also of the deep, and the flood gates of heaven were shut up, and the rain from heaven was restrained. And the fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were closed, and the pour of rain from heaven was stopped. The deep's fountains and the sky's windows were also stopped, and the rain from the sky was restrained.
Genesis 8:3And the waters returned from off the earth going and coming: and they began to be abated after a hundred and fifty days. And the waters retired from the earth, continually retiring; and in the course of a hundred and fifty days the waters abated. The waters receded from off the earth continually. After the end of one hundred fifty days the waters decreased.
Genesis 8:4And the ark rested in the seventh month, the seven and twentieth day of the month, upon the mountains of Armenia. And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the mountains of Ararat. The ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on Ararat's mountains.
Genesis 8:5And the waters were going and decreasing until the tenth month: for in the tenth month, the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains appeared. And the waters abated continually until the tenth month: in the tenth [month], on the first of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen. The waters receded continually until the tenth month. In the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.
Genesis 8:6And after that forty days were passed, Noe, opening the window of the ark which he had made, sent forth a raven:And it came to pass at the end of forty days that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made.It happened at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made,
Genesis 8:7Which went forth and did not return, till the waters were dried up upon the earth. And he sent out the raven, which went forth going to and fro, until the waters were dried from the earth.and he sent forth a raven. It went back and forth, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.
Genesis 8:8He sent forth also a dove after him, to see if the waters had now ceased upon the face of the earth. And he sent out the dove from him, to see if the waters had become low on the ground. He sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the surface of the ground,
Genesis 8:9But she, not finding where her foot might rest, returned to him into the ark: for the waters were upon the whole earth: and he put forth his hand, and caught her, and brought her into the ark.But the dove found no resting-place for the sole of her foot, and returned to him into the ark; for the waters were on the whole earth; and he put forth his hand, and took her, and brought her to him into the ark.but the dove found no place to rest her foot, and she returned to him into the ark; for the waters were on the surface of the whole earth. He put forth his hand, and took her, and brought her to him into the ark.
Genesis 8:10And having waited yet seven other days, he again sent forth the dove out of the ark.And he waited yet other seven days, and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark.He stayed yet another seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark.
Genesis 8:11And she came to him in the evening, carrying a bough of an olive tree, with green leaves, in her mouth. Noe therefore understood that the waters were ceased upon the earth. And the dove came to him at eventide; and behold, in her beak was an olive-leaf plucked off; and Noah knew that the waters had become low on the earth. The dove came back to him at evening, and, behold, in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off. So Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.
Genesis 8:12And he stayed yet other seven days: and he sent forth the dove, which returned not any more unto him.And he waited yet other seven days, and sent forth the dove; but she returned no more to him.He stayed yet another seven days, and sent forth the dove; and she didn't return to him any more.
Genesis 8:13Therefore in the six hundreth and first year, the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were lessened upon the earth, and Noe opening the covering of the ark, looked, and saw that the face of the earth was dried. And it came to pass in the six hundred and first year, in the first [month], on the first of the month, that the waters were dried up from the earth. And Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and behold, the surface of the ground was dried. It happened in the six hundred first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth. Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked. He saw that the surface of the ground was dried.
Genesis 8:14In the second month, the seven and twentieth day of the month, the earth was dried. And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.
Genesis 8:15And God spoke to Noe, saying:And God spoke to Noah, saying,God spoke to Noah, saying,
Genesis 8:16Go out of the ark, thou and thy wife, thy sons, and the wives of thy sons with thee.Go out of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee."Go forth from the ark, you, and your wife, and your sons, and your sons' wives with you.
Genesis 8:17All livings things that are with thee of all flesh, as well in fowls as in beasts, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, bring out with thee, and go ye upon the earth: increased and multiply upon it.Bring forth with thee every animal which is with thee, of all flesh, fowl as well as cattle, and all the creeping things which creep on the earth, that they may swarm on the earth, and may be fruitful and multiply on the earth.Bring forth with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh, including birds, cattle, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply on the earth."
Genesis 8:18So Noe went out, he and his sons: his wife, and the wives of his sons with him.And Noah went out, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him.Noah went forth, with his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives with him.
Genesis 8:19And all living things, and cattle, and creeping things that creep upon the earth, according to their kinds, went out of the ark.All the animals, all the creeping things, and all the fowl everything that moves on the earth, after their kinds, went out of the ark.Every animal, every creeping thing, and every bird, whatever moves on the earth, after their families, went forth out of the ark.
Genesis 8:20And Noe built an altar unto the Lord: and taking of all cattle and fowls that were clean, offered holocausts upon the altar. And Noah built an altar to Jehovah; and took of every clean animal, and of all clean fowl, and offered up burnt-offerings on the altar.Noah built an altar to Yahweh, and took of every clean animal, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
Genesis 8:21And the Lord smelled a sweet savour, and said: I will no more curse the earth for the sake of man: for the imagination and thought of man's heart are prone to evil from his youth: therefore I will no more destroy every living soul as I have done. And Jehovah smelled the sweet odour. And Jehovah said in his heart, I will no more henceforth curse the ground on account of Man, for the thought of Man's heart is evil from his youth; and I will no more smite every living thing, as I have done.Yahweh smelled the sweet savor. Yahweh said in his heart, "I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake, because the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I ever again strike everything living, as I have done.
Genesis 8:22All the days of the earth, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, night and day, shall not cease.Henceforth, all the days of the earth, seed [time] and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night, shall not cease. While the earth remains, seed time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease."
