Mark 16:1And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalen, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought sweet spices, that coming, they might anoint Jesus.And the sabbath being [now] past, Mary of Magdala, and Mary the [mother] of James, and Salome, bought aromatic spices that they might come and embalm him.When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint him.
Mark 16:2And very early in the morning, the first day of the week, they come to the sepulchre, the sun being now risen.And very early on the first [day] of the week they come to the sepulchre, the sun having risen.Very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.
Mark 16:3And they said one to another: Who shall roll us back the stone from the door of the sepulchre?And they said to one another, Who shall roll us away the stone out of the door of the sepulchre?They were saying among themselves, "Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?"
Mark 16:4And looking, they saw the stone rolled back. For it was very great.And when they looked, they see that the stone has been rolled [away], for it was very great.for it was very big. Looking up, they saw that the stone was rolled back
Mark 16:5And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed with a white robe: and they were astonished.And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right, clothed in a white robe, and they were amazed and alarmed;Entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were amazed.
Mark 16:6Who saith to them: Be not affrighted; you seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified: he is risen, he is not here, behold the place where they laid him.but he says to them, Be not alarmed. Ye seek Jesus, the Nazarene, the crucified one. He is risen, he is not here; behold the place where they had put him.He said to them, "Don't be amazed. You seek Jesus, the Nazarene, who has been crucified. He has risen. He is not here. Behold, the place where they laid him!
Mark 16:7But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee; there you shall see him, as he told you.But go, tell his disciples and Peter, he goes before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him, as he said to you.But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He goes before you into Galilee. There you will see him, as he said to you.'"
Mark 16:8But they going out, fled from the sepulchre. For a trembling and fear had seized them: and they said nothing to any man; for they were afraid.And they went out, and fled from the sepulchre. And trembling and excessive amazement possessed them, and they said nothing to any one, for they were afraid.They went out, and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had come on them. They said nothing to anyone; for they were afraid.
Mark 16:9But he rising early the first day of the week, appeared first to Mary Magdalen, out of whom he had cast seven devils.Now when he had risen very early, the first [day] of the week, he appeared first to Mary of Magdala, out of whom he had cast seven demons.Now when he had risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.
Mark 16:10She went and told them that had been with him, who were mourning and weeping.*She* went and brought word to those that had been with him, [who were] grieving and weeping.She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
Mark 16:11And they hearing that he was alive, and had been seen by her, did not believe.And when these heard that he was alive and had been seen of her, they disbelieved [it].When they heard that he was alive, and had been seen by her, they disbelieved.
Mark 16:12And after that he appeared in another shape to two of them walking, as they were going into the country.And after these things he was manifested in another form to two of them as they walked, going into the country;After these things he was revealed in another form to two of them, as they walked, on their way into the country.
Mark 16:13And they going told it to the rest: neither did they believe them.and *they* went and brought word to the rest; neither did they believe them.They went away and told it to the rest. They didn't believe them, either.
Mark 16:14At length he appeared to the eleven as they were at table: and he upbraided them with their incredulity and hardness of heart, because they did not believe them who had seen him after he was risen again.Afterwards as they lay at table he was manifested to the eleven, and reproached [them with] their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen him risen.Afterward he was revealed to the eleven themselves as they sat at the table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they didn't believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
Mark 16:15And he said to them: Go ye into the whole world, and preach the gospel to every creature.And he said to them, Go into all the world, and preach the glad tidings to all the creation.He said to them, "Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation.
Mark 16:16He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be condemned.He that believes and is baptised shall be saved, and he that disbelieves shall be condemned.He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
Mark 16:17And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name they shall cast out devils: they shall speak with new tongues.And these signs shall follow those that have believed: in my name they shall cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues;These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new languages;
Mark 16:18They shall take up serpents; and if they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them: they shall lay their hands upon the sick, and they shall recover.they shall take up serpents; and if they should drink any deadly thing it shall not injure them; they shall lay hands upon the infirm, and they shall be well.they will take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will in no way hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
Mark 16:19And the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God.The Lord therefore, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat at the right hand of God.So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.
Mark 16:20But they going forth preached every where: the Lord working withal, and confirming the word with signs that followed.And they, going forth, preached everywhere, the Lord working with [them], and confirming the word by the signs following upon [it].They went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed.
