Romans 15:1Now we that are stronger, ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.But *we* ought, we that are strong, to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
Romans 15:2Let every one of you please his neighbour unto good, to edification.Let each one of us please his neighbour with a view to what is good, to edification.Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.
Romans 15:3For Christ did not please himself, but as it is written: The reproaches of them that reproached thee, fell upon me.For the Christ also did not please himself; but according as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproach thee have fallen upon me.For Christ also didn't please himself. But, as it is written, "The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me."
Romans 15:4For what things soever were written, were written for our learning: that through patience and the comfort of the scriptures, we might have hope.For as many things as have been written before have been written for our instruction, that through endurance and through encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through patience and through comfort of the scriptures we might have hope.
Romans 15:5Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of one mind one towards another, according to Jesus Christ:Now the God of endurance and of encouragement give to you to be like-minded one toward another, according to Christ Jesus;Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus,
Romans 15:6That with one mind, and with one mouth, you may glorify God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.that ye may with one accord, with one mouth, glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.that with one accord you may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:7Wherefore receive one another, as Christ also hath received you unto the honour of God.Wherefore receive ye one another, according as the Christ also has received you to [the] glory of God.Therefore receive one another, even as Christ also received you, to the glory of God.
Romans 15:8For I say that Christ Jesus was minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers.For I say that Jesus Christ became a minister of [the] circumcision for [the] truth of God, to confirm the promises of the fathers;Now I say that Christ has been made a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, that he might confirm the promises given to the fathers,
Romans 15:9But that the Gentiles are to glorify God for his mercy, as it is written: Therefore will I confess to thee, O Lord, among the Gentiles, and will sing to thy name.and that the nations should glorify God for mercy; according as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among [the] nations, and will sing to thy name.and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, "Therefore will I give praise to you among the Gentiles, And sing to your name."
Romans 15:10And again he saith: Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people.And again he says, Rejoice, nations, with his people.Again he says, "Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people."
Romans 15:11And again: Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and magnify him, all ye people.And again, Praise the Lord, all [ye] nations, and let all the peoples laud him.Again, "Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Let all the peoples praise him."
Romans 15:12And again Isaias saith: There shall be a root of Jesse; and he that shall rise up to rule the Gentiles, in him the Gentiles shall hope.And again, Esaias says, There shall be the root of Jesse, and one that arises, to rule over [the] nations: in him shall [the] nations hope.Again, Isaiah says, "There will be the root of Jesse, He who arises to rule over the Gentiles; On him will the Gentiles hope."
Romans 15:13Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing; that you may abound in hope, and in the power of the Holy Ghost.Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that ye should abound in hope by [the] power of [the] Holy Spirit.Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:14And I myself also, my brethren, am assured of you, that you also are full of love, replenished with all knowledge, so that you are able to admonish one another.But I am persuaded, my brethren, I myself also, concerning you, that yourselves also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.I myself am also persuaded about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish others.
Romans 15:15But I have written to you, brethren, more boldly in some sort, as it were putting you in mind: because of the grace which is given me from God.But I have written to you the more boldly, [brethren,] in part, as putting you in mind, because of the grace given to me by God,But I write the more boldly to you in some measure, as putting you again in memory, because of the grace that was given to me by God,
Romans 15:16That I should be the minister of Christ Jesus among the Gentiles; sanctifying the gospel of God, that the oblation of the Gentiles may be made acceptable and sanctified in the Holy Ghost.for me to be minister of Christ Jesus to the nations, carrying on as a sacrificial service the [message of] glad tidings of God, in order that the offering up of the nations might be acceptable, sanctified by [the] Holy Spirit.that I should be a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:17I have therefore glory in Christ Jesus towards God.I have therefore [whereof to] boast in Christ Jesus in the things which pertain to God.I have therefore my boasting in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God.
Romans 15:18For I dare not to speak of any of those things which Christ worketh not by me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,For I will not dare to speak anything of the things which Christ has not wrought by me, for [the] obedience of [the] nations, by word and deed,For I will not dare to speak of any things except those which Christ worked through me, for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,
Romans 15:19By the virtue of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Ghost, so that from Jerusalem round about as far as unto Illyricum, I have replenished the gospel of Christ.in [the] power of signs and wonders, in [the] power of [the] Spirit of God; so that I, from Jerusalem, and in a circuit round to Illyricum, have fully preached the glad tidings of the Christ;in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of God's Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ;
Romans 15:20And I have so preached this gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation.and so aiming to announce the glad tidings, not where Christ has been named, that I might not build upon another's foundation;yes, making it my aim so to preach the gospel, not where Christ was already named, that I might not build on another man's foundation.
Romans 15:21But as it is written: They to whom he was not spoken of, shall see, and they that have not heard shall understand.but according as it is written, To whom there was nothing told concerning him, they shall see; and they that have not heard shall understand.But, as it is written, "They will see, to whom no news of him came. They who haven't heard will understand."
Romans 15:22For which cause also I was hindered very much from coming to you, and have been kept away till now.Wherefore also I have been often hindered from coming to you.Therefore also I was hindered these many times from coming to you,
Romans 15:23But now having no more place in these countries, and having a great desire these many years past to come unto you,But now, having no longer place in these regions, and having great desire to come to you these many years,but now, no longer having any place in these regions, and having these many years a longing to come to you,
Romans 15:24When I shall begin to take my journey into Spain, I hope that as I pass, I shall see you, and be brought on my way thither by you, if first, in part, I shall have enjoyed you:whenever I should go to Spain; (for I hope to see you as I go through, and by you to be set forward thither, if first I shall have been in part filled with your company;)whenever I journey to Spain, I will come to you. For I hope to see you on my journey, and to be helped on my way there by you, if first I may enjoy your company for a while.
Romans 15:25But now I shall go to Jerusalem, to minister unto the saints.but now I go to Jerusalem, ministering to the saints;But now, I say, I am going to Jerusalem, serving the saints.
Romans 15:26For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a contribution for the poor of the saints that are in Jerusalem.for Macedonia and Achaia have been well pleased to make a certain contribution for the poor of the saints who [are] in Jerusalem.For it has been the good pleasure of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are at Jerusalem.
Romans 15:27For it hath pleased them; and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they ought also in carnal things to minister to them.They have been well pleased indeed, and they are their debtors; for if the nations have participated in their spiritual things, they ought also in fleshly to minister to them.Yes, it has been their good pleasure, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they owe it to them also to serve them in fleshly things.
Romans 15:28When therefore I shall have accomplished this, and consigned to them this fruit, I will come by you into Spain.Having finished this therefore, and having sealed to them this fruit, I will set off by you into Spain.When therefore I have accomplished this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will go on by you to Spain.
Romans 15:29And I know, that when I come to you, I shall come in the abundance of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.But I know that, coming to you, I shall come in [the] fulness of [the] blessing of Christ.I know that, when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ.
Romans 15:30I beseech you therefore, brethren, through our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the charity of the Holy Ghost, that you help me in your prayers for me to God,But I beseech you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in prayers for me to God;Now I beg you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me,
Romans 15:31That I may be delivered from the unbelievers that are in Judea, and that the oblation of my service may be acceptable in Jerusalem to the saints.that I may be saved from those that do not believe in Judaea; and that my ministry which [I have] for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints;that I may be delivered from those who are disobedient in Judea, and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints;
Romans 15:32That I may come to you with joy, by the will of God, and may be refreshed with you.in order that I may come to you in joy by God's will, and that I may be refreshed with you.that I may come to you in joy through the will of God, and together with you, find rest.
