| Romans 6:1 | What shall we say, then? shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? | What then shall we say? Should we continue in sin that grace may abound? | What will we say then? Will we continue in sin, that grace may abound? |
| Romans 6:2 | God forbid. For we that are dead to sin, how shall we live any longer therein? | Far be the thought. We who have died to sin, how shall we still live in it? | Certainly not! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer? |
| Romans 6:3 | Know you not that all we, who are baptized in Christ Jesus, are baptized in his death? | Are you ignorant that we, as many as have been baptised unto Christ Jesus, have been baptised unto his death? | Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? |
| Romans 6:4 | For we are buried together with him by baptism into death; that as Christ is risen from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also may walk in newness of life. | We have been buried therefore with him by baptism unto death, in order that, even as Christ has been raised up from among [the] dead by the glory of the Father, so *we* also should walk in newness of life. | We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. |

| Romans 6:17 | But thanks be to God, that you were the servants of sin, but have obeyed from the heart, unto that form of doctrine, into which you have been delivered. | But thanks [be] to God, that ye were bondmen of sin, but have obeyed from the heart the form of teaching into which ye were instructed. | But thanks be to God, that, whereas you were servants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching whereunto you were delivered. |
