| Ezekiel 16:2 | Son of man, make known to Jerusalem her abominations. | Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations, | `Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations, and thou hast said: |
| Ezekiel 16:3 | And thou shalt say: Thus saith the Lord God to Jerusalem: Thy root, and thy nativity is of the land of Chanaan, thy father was an Amorrhite, and thy mother a Cethite. | and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah unto Jerusalem: Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of the Canaanite: thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother a Hittite. | Thus said the Lord Jehovah to Jerusalem: Thy birth and thy nativity [Are] of the land of the Canaanite, Thy father the Amorite, and thy mother a Hittite. |
| Ezekiel 16:4 | And when thou wast born, in the day of thy nativity thy navel wits not cut, neither wast thou washed with water for thy health, nor salted with salt, nor swaddled with clouts. | And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water for cleansing; thou wast not rubbed with salt at all, nor swaddled at all. | As to thy nativity, in the day thou wast born, Thou thy navel hath not been cut, And in water thou wast not washed for ease, And thou hast not been salted at all, And thou hast not been swaddled at all. |

And thou hast not been as a harlot, in that thou scornest reward, | In thy building thine arch at the head of every way, Thy high place thou hast made in every broad place, And hast not been as a whore deriding a gift. |
