| Romans 6:1 | What shall we say, then? shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? | What then shall we say? Should we continue in sin that grace may abound? | What, then, shall we say? shall we continue in the sin that the grace may abound? |
| Romans 6:2 | God forbid. For we that are dead to sin, how shall we live any longer therein? | Far be the thought. We who have died to sin, how shall we still live in it? | let it not be! we who died to the sin how shall we still live in it? |
| Romans 6:3 | Know you not that all we, who are baptized in Christ Jesus, are baptized in his death? | Are you ignorant that we, as many as have been baptised unto Christ Jesus, have been baptised unto his death? | are ye ignorant that we, as many as were baptized to Christ Jesus, to his death were baptized? |
| Romans 6:4 | For we are buried together with him by baptism into death; that as Christ is risen from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also may walk in newness of life. | We have been buried therefore with him by baptism unto death, in order that, even as Christ has been raised up from among [the] dead by the glory of the Father, so *we* also should walk in newness of life. | we were buried together, then, with him through the baptism to the death, that even as Christ was raised up out of the dead through the glory of the Father, so also we in newness of life might walk. |
