John 3:1And there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: But there was a man from among the Pharisees, his name Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews;
John 3:2This man came to Jesus by night, and said to him: Rabbi, we know that thou art come a teacher from God; for no man can do these signs which thou dost, unless God be with him.The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. he came to him by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know that thou art come a teacher from God, for none can do these signs that thou doest unless God be with him.
John 3:3Jesus answered, and said to him: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Jesus answered and said to him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except any one be born anew he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:4Nicodemus saith to him: How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born again?Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Nicodemus says to him, How can a man be born being old? can he enter a second time into the womb of his mother and be born?
John 3:5Jesus answered: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except any one be born of water and of Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
John 3:6That which is born of the flesh, is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit, is spirit.That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
John 3:7Wonder not, that I said to thee, you must be born again.Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Do not wonder that I said to thee, It is needful that *ye* should be born anew.
John 3:8The Spirit breatheth where he will; and thou hearest his voice, but thou knowest not whence he cometh, and whither he goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. The wind blows where it will, and thou hearest its voice, but knowest not whence it comes and where it goes: thus is every one that is born of the Spirit.
John 3:9Nicodemus answered, and said to him: How can these things be done?Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? Nicodemus answered and said to him, How can these things be?
John 3:10Jesus answered, and said to him: Art thou a master in Israel, and knowest not these things?Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? Jesus answered and said to him, Thou art the teacher of Israel and knowest not these things!
John 3:11Amen, amen I say to thee, that we speak what we know, and we testify what we have seen, and you receive not our testimony.Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that which we know, and we bear witness of that which we have seen, and ye receive not our witness.
John 3:12If I have spoken to you earthly things, and you believe not; how will you believe, if I shall speak to you heavenly things?If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? If I have said the earthly things to you, and ye believe not, how, if I say the heavenly things to you, will ye believe?
John 3:13And no man hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man who is in heaven.And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. And no one has gone up into heaven, save he who came down out of heaven, the Son of man who is in heaven.
John 3:14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of man be lifted up:And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, thus must the Son of man be lifted up,
John 3:15That whosoever believeth in him, may not perish; but may have life everlasting.That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. that every one who believes on him may [not perish, but] have life eternal.
John 3:16For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting.For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal.
John 3:17For God sent not his Son into the world, to judge the world, but that the world may be saved by him.For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. For God has not sent his Son into the world that he may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through him.
John 3:18He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe, is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God.He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. He that believes on him is not judged: but he that believes not has been already judged, because he has not believed on the name of the only-begotten Son of God.
John 3:19And this is the judgment: because the light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the light: for their works were evil.And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. And this is the judgment, that light is come into the world, and men have loved darkness rather than light; for their works were evil.
John 3:20For every one that doth evil hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, that his works may not be reproved.For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. For every one that does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light that his works may not be shewn as they are;
John 3:21But he that doth truth, cometh to the light, that his works may be made manifest, because they are done in God.But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. but he that practises the truth comes to the light, that his works may be manifested that they have been wrought in God.
John 3:22After these things Jesus and his disciples came into the land of Judea: and there he abode with them, and baptized.After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized. After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he abode with them and baptised.
John 3:23And John also was baptizing in Ennon near Salim; because there was much water there; and they came and were baptized.And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized. And John also was baptising in Aenon, near Salim, because there was a great deal of water there; and they came to [him] and were baptised:

John 3:25And there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews concerning purification:Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. There was therefore a reasoning of the disciples of John with a Jew about purification.
John 3:26And they came to John, and said to him: Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond the Jordan, to whom thou gavest testimony, behold he baptizeth, and all men come to him.And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him. And they came to John and said to him, Rabbi, he who was with thee beyond the Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, he baptises, and all come to him.
John 3:27John answered, and said: A man cannot receive any thing, unless it be given him from heaven.John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. John answered and said, A man can receive nothing unless it be given him out of heaven.
John 3:28You yourselves do bear me witness, that I said, I am not Christ, but that I am sent before him.Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. Ye yourselves bear me witness that I said, I am not the Christ, but, that I am sent before him.
John 3:29He that hath the bride, is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, who standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth with joy because of the bridegroom's voice. This my joy therefore is fulfilled.He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. He that has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices in heart because of the voice of the bridegroom: this my joy then is fulfilled.
John 3:30He must increase, but I must decrease.He must increase, but I must decrease. He must increase, but I must decrease.
John 3:31He that cometh from above, is above all. He that is of the earth, of the earth he is, and of the earth he speaketh. He that cometh from heaven, is above all.He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all. He who comes from above is above all. He who has his origin in the earth is of the earth, and speaks [as] of the earth. He who comes out of heaven is above all,
John 3:32And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth: and no man receiveth his testimony.And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony. [and] what he has seen and has heard, this he testifies; and no one receives his testimony.
John 3:33He that hath received his testimony, hath set to his seal that God is true.He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true. He that has received his testimony has set to his seal that God is true;
John 3:34For he whom God hath sent, speaketh the words of God: for God doth not give the Spirit by measure.For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. for he whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives not the Spirit by measure.
John 3:35The Father loveth the Son: and he hath given all things into his hand.The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. The Father loves the Son, and has given all things [to be] in his hand.
John 3:36He that believeth in the Son, hath life everlasting; but he that believeth not the Son, shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. He that believes on the Son has life eternal, and he that is not subject to the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides upon him.
