| Galatians 3:1 | O senseless Galatians, who hath bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been set forth, crucified among you? | O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? | You foolish Galatians! Whose sophistry has bewitched you you to whom Jesus Christ has been vividly portrayed as on the Cross? |
| Galatians 3:2 | This only would I learn of you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? | This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? | Answer me this one question, "Is it on the ground of your obedience to the Law that you received the Spirit, or is it because, when you heard, you believed?" |
| Galatians 3:3 | Are you so foolish, that, whereas you began in the Spirit, you would now be made perfect by the flesh? | Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? | Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now going to reach perfection through what is external? |
