| Galatians 5:1 | Stand fast, and be not held again under the yoke of bondage. | Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. | Christ having made us gloriously free stand fast and do not again be hampered with the yoke of slavery. |
| Galatians 5:2 | Behold, I Paul tell you, that if you be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. | Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. | Remember that it is I Paul who tell you that if you receive circumcision Christ will avail you nothing. |
