| Romans 6:1 | What shall we say, then? shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? | What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? | To what conclusion, then, shall we come? Are we to persist in sinning in order that the grace extended to us may be the greater? |
| Romans 6:2 | God forbid. For we that are dead to sin, how shall we live any longer therein? | God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? | No, indeed; how shall we who have died to sin, live in it any longer? |

| Romans 6:17 | But thanks be to God, that you were the servants of sin, but have obeyed from the heart, unto that form of doctrine, into which you have been delivered. | But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. | But thanks be to God that though you were once in thraldom to Sin, you have now yielded a hearty obedience to that system of truth in which you have been instructed. |
