| Jonah 2:1 | Now the Lord prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonas: and Jonas was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights. | Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, | Then Jonah prayed to Yahweh, his God, out of the fish's belly. |
| Jonah 2:2 | And Jonas prayed to the Lord his God out of the belly of the fish. | And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice. | He said, "I called because of my affliction to Yahweh. He answered me. Out of the belly of Sheol I cried. You heard my voice. |
| Jonah 2:3 | And he said: I cried out of my affliction to the Lord, and he heard me: I cried out of the belly of hell, and thou hast heard my voice. | For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me. | For you threw me into the depths, In the heart of the seas. The flood was all around me. All your waves and your billows passed over me. |
| Jonah 2:4 | And thou hast cast me forth into the deep in the heart of the sea, and a flood hath compassed me: all thy billows, and thy waves have passed over me. | Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple. | I said, 'I have been banished from your sight; Yet I will look again toward your holy temple.' |

Salvation is of the LORD. | But I will sacrifice to you with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation belongs to Yahweh." |
| Jonah 2:10 | But I with the voice of praise will sacrifice to thee: I will pay whatsoever I have vowed for my salvation to the Lord. | And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land. | Yahweh spoke to the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land. |
