| Leviticus 20:1 | And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: | And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, | And the Lord said to Moses, |
| Leviticus 20:2 | Thus shalt thou say to the children of Israel: If any man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers, that dwell in Israel, give of his seed to the idol Moloch, dying let him die: the people of the land shall stone him. | Again thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed to Molech, he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones. | Again, say to the children of Israel, If any man of the children of Israel, or any other man living in Israel, gives his offspring to Molech, he is certainly to be put to death: he is to be stoned by the people of the land; |
| Leviticus 20:3 | And I will set my face against him: and I will cut him off from the midst of his people, because he hath given of his seed to Moloch, and hath defiled my sanctuary, and profaned my holy name. | And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed to Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name. | And my face will be turned against that man, and he will be cut off from his people; because he has given his offspring to Molech, making my holy place unclean, and making my holy name common. |
| Leviticus 20:4 | And if the people of the land neglecting, and as it were little regarding my commandment, let alone the man that hath given of his seed to Moloch, and will not kill him: | And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed to Molech, and kill him not; | And if the people of the land do not take note of that man when he gives his offspring to Molech, and do not put him to death, |
| Leviticus 20:5 | I will set my face against that man, and his kindred, and will cut off both him and all that consented with him, to commit fornication with Moloch, out of the midst of their people. | Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go astray after him, to commit lewdness with Molech from among their people. | Then my face will be turned against him and his family, and he and all those who do evil with him will be cut off from among their people. |
| Leviticus 20:6 | The soul that shall go aside after magicians, and soothsayers, and shall commit fornication with them, I will set my face against that soul, and destroy it out of the midst of its people. | And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go astray after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people. | And whoever goes after those who make use of spirits and wonder-workers, doing evil with them, against him will my face be turned, and he will be cut off from among his people. |

| Leviticus 20:9 | He that curseth his father, or mother, dying let him die: he hath cursed his father, and mother, let his blood be upon him. | For every one that curseth his father or his mother, shall surely be put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him. | Every man cursing his father or his mother is certainly to be put to death; because of his curse on his father or his mother, his blood will be on him. |
| Leviticus 20:10 | If any man commit adultery with the wife of another, and defile his neighbour's wife, let then: be put to death, both the adulterer and the adulteress. | And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death. | And if a man has sex relations with another man's wife, even the wife of his neighbour, he and she are certainly to be put to death. |
| Leviticus 20:11 | If a man lie with his stepmother, and discover the nakedness of his father, let them both be put to death: their blood be upon them. | And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness; both of them shall surely be put to death: their blood shall be upon them. | And the man who has sex relations with his father's wife has put shame on his father: the two of them are to be put to death; their blood will be on them. |
| Leviticus 20:12 | If any man lie with his daughter in law, let both die, because they have done a heinous crime: their blood be upon them. | And if a man shall lie with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them. | And if a man has sex relations with his son's wife, the two of them are to be put to death: it is unnatural; their blood will be on them. |
| Leviticus 20:13 | If any one lie with a man se with a woman, both have committed an abomination, let them be put to death: their blood be upon them. | If a man also shall lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. | And if a man has sex relations with a man, the two of them have done a disgusting thing: let them be put to death; their blood will be on them. |
| Leviticus 20:14 | If any man after marrying the daughter, marry her mother, he hath done a heinous crime: he shall be burnt alive with them: neither shall so great an abomination remain in the midst of you. | And if a man shall take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they: that there be no wickedness among you. | And if a man takes as wife a woman and her mother, it is an act of shame; let them be burned with fire, all three of them, so that there may be no shame among you. |
| Leviticus 20:15 | He that shall copulate with any beast or cattle, dying let him die, the beast also ye shall kill. | And if a man shall lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast. | And if a man has sex relations with a beast, let him be put to death, and let the beast be put to destruction. |
| Leviticus 20:16 | The woman that shall lie under any beast, shall be killed together with the same: their blood be upon them. | And if a woman shall approach to any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman and the beast; they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. | And if a woman goes near a beast and has sex relations with it, you will put an end to the woman and the beast: their blood will be on them. |
| Leviticus 20:17 | If any man take his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother, and see her nakedness, and she behold her brother's shame: they have committed a crime: they shall be slain, in the sight of their people, because they have discovered one another's nakedness, and they shall bear their iniquity. | And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity. | And if a man takes his sister, daughter of his father or his mother, and has sex relations with her and she with him, it is an act of shame: they are to be cut off before the children of their people; he has had sex relations with his sister, and his sin will be on him. |
| Leviticus 20:18 | If any man lie with a woman in her flowers, and uncover her nakedness, and she open the fountain of her blood, both shall be destroyed out of the midst of their people. | And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people. | And if a man has sex relations with a woman at the time when she is unwell, he has seen her fountain and she has let the fountain of her blood be uncovered, and the two of them are to be cut off from among their people. |
| Leviticus 20:19 | Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy aunt by thy mother, and of thy aunt by thy father: he that doth this, hath uncovered the shame of his own flesh, both shall bear their iniquity. | And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, nor of thy father's sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity. | And you may not have sex connection with your mother's sister or your father's sister, for they are his near relations: their sin will be on them. |
| Leviticus 20:20 | If any mall lie with the wife of his uncle by the father, or of his uncle by the mother, and uncover the shame of his near akin, both shall bear their sin: they shall die without children. | And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless. | And if a man has sex relations with the wife of his father's brother, he has put shame on his father's brother: their sin will be on them; till the day of their death they will have no children. |
| Leviticus 20:21 | He that marrieth his brother's wife, doth an unlawful thing, he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness: they shall be without children. | And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless. | And if a man takes his brother's wife, it is an unclean act; he has put shame on his brother; they will have no children. |
| Leviticus 20:22 | Keep my laws and my judgments, and do them: lest the land into which you are to enter to dwell therein, vomit you also out. | Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land whither I bring you to dwell therein, may not vomit you out. | So then, keep my rules and my decisions and do them, so that the land which I am giving you as your resting-place may not violently send you out again. |
| Leviticus 20:23 | Walk not after the laws of the nations, which I will cast out before you. For they have done all these things, and therefore I abhorred them. | And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nations which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them. | And do not keep the rules of the nations which I am driving out before you; for they did all these things, and for that reason my soul was turned against them. |
| Leviticus 20:24 | But to you I say: Possess their land which I will give you for an inheritance, a land flowing with milk and honey. I am the Lord your God, who have separated you from other people. | But I have said to you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it to you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, who have separated you from other people. | But I have said to you, You will take their land and I will give it to you for your heritage, a land flowing with milk and honey: I am the Lord your God who have made you separate from all other peoples. |
| Leviticus 20:25 | Therefore do you also separate the clean beast from the unclean, and the clean fowl from the unclean: defile not your souls with beasts, or birds, or any things that move on the earth, and which I have shewn you to be unclean. | Ye shall therefore distinguish between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast or by fowl, or by any manner of living animal that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean. | So then, make division between the clean beast and the unclean, and between the clean bird and the unclean: do not make yourselves disgusting by any beast or bird or anything which goes flat on the earth, which has been marked by me as unclean for you. |
| Leviticus 20:26 | You shall be holy unto me, because I the Lord am holy, and I have separated you from other people, that you should be mine. | And ye shall be holy to me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. | And you are to be holy to me; for I the Lord am holy and have made you separate from the nations, so that you may be my people. |
| Leviticus 20:27 | A man, or woman, in whom there is a pythonical or divining spirit, dying let them die: they shall stone them: their blood be upon them. | A man also or a woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them. | Any man or woman who makes use of spirits, or who is a wonder-worker, is to be put to death: they are to be stoned with stones: their blood will be on them. |
